ANOTHER Disney World Snack Spot Has Reopened!

As things start to move more back to normal at Disney World, we’re starting to see more and more restaurants and snack spots reopen all over the resort.

BoardWalk To Go

Soon, we’ll be diving into the wonderful Polynesian-inspired fare at ‘Ohana and eating some Latino-inspired food at Maya Grill. And today, we found a new snack spot that has reopened at Disney World!

That snack spot is BoardWalk To Go at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. We were told it officially reopened a few weeks ago, however the website still lists it as “temporarily unavailable.”

It’s open!

Here you can pick up some quick and easy snacks like corn dogs, hot dogs, a pulled pork sandwich, and a buffalo chicken sandwich. There are also chicken tenders and fries on the menu!

Menu

Right now, it’s open Thursday through Saturday from 12PM to 8PM.

Hours

So if you find yourself over near the BoardWalk area and you’re feeling a bit peckish, you now have one more place where you can pick up a quick snack! And if any other snack spots or restaurants reopen at Disney World, we’ll let you know!

EPCOT’s La Cava del Tequila Reveals NEW Glassware Ahead Of Full Reopening!

If you’ve been reading our blog for a while, you know we often sing the praises of one particular bar at EPCOT.

La Cava del Tequila will fully reopen soon!

That bar is La Cava del Tequila at the Mexico Pavilion, and we’ve had some of the best tequilas, margaritas, and cocktails there in all of Disney World.

Since Disney World’s reopening, though, La Cava del Tequila has only been open for guests to get drinks to go (unless, of course, you paid for the pricey Agave Experience). However, as of tomorrow, La Cava del Tequila will once more allow guests to come in and sit down at tables to enjoy their beverages inside!

La Cava del Tequila

The bar has also partnered with Tromba Tequila to create its own Extra Anejo tequila. Guests who order tequila neat will have a server bring a bottle of the brand they asked for, and they will pour the tequila into new glassware sporting the Tromba Tequila logo.

New glassware

A special Welcome Margarita will also be on the menu — stay tuned for a post about it! So if you’re craving some good tequila and margaritas tomorrow at Disney World in a place with air conditioning, be sure to make a left when you get to World Showcase and head straight to the Mexican Pavilion.

And we’ll be sure to keep you updated on other reopening news, too!

The new “The Disney Junior Dream Factory” show at Walt Disney Studios Park was originally slated to open in Spring 2020. Of course, the show did not premiere with the COVID-19 shutdown in place. Now that Disneyland Paris has reopened, we have our first look at the show’s cast. In this photo, the ensemble takes the stage. Mickey and Minnie are joined by Fancy Nancy, Timon, and Vampirina. We saw a preview of Mickey’s costume in late 2020. The new […]

EXCLUSIVE: You Can Drink INSIDE La Cava del Tequila in EPCOT Again Starting Tomorrow!

La Cava del Tequila is one of the best places (if not THE best place) to grab a margarita in all of Disney World!

La Cava del Tequila

Inside the pyramid in the Mexico pavilion, this little tequila cave has a selection of over 200 tequilas, unique drinks like the avocado margarita, and tequila FLIGHTS (a dream). There’s even the Agave Experience where you get to sample different types of tequila along with GRASSHOPPERS! La Cava has only been selling drinks to-go since Disney reopened, but now we have some news for you tequila fans!

When Disney reopened, the dining room at La Cava had most of its tables and chairs removed and was closed to guests (unless you took part in the Agave Experience). But, the dining room will officially reopen TOMORROW, June 20th!

Nothing to see here!

Guests will once again be able to escape the heat inside the bar and enjoy a delicious margarita! And, we have to say that it’s going to be waaaay easier to sip those tequila flights while sitting down.

La Cava Drinks

La Cava del Tequila gave us a sneak peek of the room on their Instagram page, and based on this, it looks like the seating is pretty space out.

We’ll be there to give you a closer look soon!

La Cava del Tequila can get a little busy inside sometimes, so remember, you can still get your drink to-go from the bar! We’ll update you on our first day back sitting inside the Mexico Pavilion’s hit spot soon, so stay tuned to DFB!

REVIEW: Did We Just Find The Most Perfect Fruit Tart In Disney World?

It is almost Father’s Day, and we’re at Disney World sampling all the Father’s Day treats!

Contempo Cafe

So far, we’ve seen a Darth Vader Father’s Day Cake, and a Blondie that had a questionable-looking chocolate cigar on it (seriously, look at the photos!).

But today, we’re trying a Father’s Day Fruit Tart. This is made with Fresh Fruit with Custard and a Sweet Shell garnished with Milk Chocolate, a Father’s Day White Chocolate Plaque and a White Chocolate Curl. And it’s probably the prettiest Father’s Day dessert we’ve seen so far!

Isn’t it pretty?

The berries on top of this are some of our favorites — blackberries AND blueberries? Yes, please! They taste like summer! They also add a nice hint of tart to the snack as a whole.

It’s BERRY tart

But y’all, it was the custard inside this thing that made us roll our eyes back and sigh in happy snack contentment. This custard has a nice eggy consistency and is better than some custard pies we’ve tried!

We will point out that if you’re not a custard fan, you’ll want to skip this, but for us, this was PERFECTION. The tart itself offered just enough sweetness to pull the whole treat together as a whole.

Diving in

We also found it filling, which makes its price point really good — it’s just $4.79. And if you want to try it for yourself, you can do so at Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Be sure to keep checking back because we’ll have even more snack reviews coming up soon!
