Over the last year, Mobile Order, Mobile Dine Check-In, online hotel check-in, and more have become BIG things. Another addition? Mobile Checkout for select stores! We’ve previously seen this feature at Mouse Gear in EPCOT and Everything POP Shopping at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and now, it’s been introduced somewhere else.

If you’ve shopped at World of Disney in Disney Springs, you’re no stranger to LONG check-out lines. But now, you can skip ’em with that Mobile Checkout option!

You can open Mobile Checkout directly in your My Disney Experience app…

…or scan the QR code on the sign to access it. Then, scan each of your items, pay on your phone, and show your exit QR code to the Cast Member at the door! (Pro tip: make sure you screenshot that QR code just in case you exit out of the app and lose it before you reach the exit!).

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is still closed, and we’re still sad about it.

But Disney’s been lessening the pain with plenty of Trader Sam’s merch at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, from shirts to purses. And today, we noticed a POPULAR collectible has finally been restocked!

Remember the Trader Sam’s Chips and Dip Set? It’s themed after the Nautilus and PERFECT for snacking.

Well, these little guys sold out fast…but they’re BACK! We spotted ’em behind the counter at BouTiki, and we could not be happier.

The set features nautical details and the Trader Sam’s logo, and it costs $49.99. If you want it, though, you’ll have to hurry. It’s not expected to be back in stock for long!

If you’ve been to Disney World recently, you probably used the My Disney Experience app a LOT!

You may have used the app to check the wait times, make dining reservations, use mobile check-in, check for walk-up waitlist availability at your favorite restaurants, shop in Disney World’s stores, or do other things! Well, now we’ve spotted an update that has been made to the app.

Recently, an update became available for the My Disney Experience app. The Apple app store notes that in this latest version you can view and update your profile image quicker and Disney has added some extra excitement to the home screen with new header images! And that’s precisely what we saw when we downloaded the update.

Now, the homepage has a new header image featuring Mickey balloons with the icons of each of the parks on the outside, and you’ve got quick access to your profile image so you can change it up as much as you want.

We especially love how it asks “what memories will you make?” If you don’t see this updated screen on your app, be sure to check your phone’s app store and see if you can download the update.

There are all kinds of things you can do through the My Disney Experience app that you might not have even realized you can do, like look for nearby restrooms or even look for coin press machines!
