A wave of Corkcicle bottles have made their way to Walt Disney World Resort hotels, and the newest one has said “aloha” at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! This 16-ounce bottle features a faux wood pattern, matching the earthy design of the resort. It’s not an overly elaborate design, with the resort art on only one side of the bottle. The Corkcicle logo can be found in white on the bottom. The logo features a playful tropical design in a pineapple-colored […]

disneyland-star-wars-galaxys-edge-ogas-cantina-25-4011847

Disneyland Resort is reopening more restaurants as capacity increases across the parks. A fan favorite in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Oga’s Cantina, joined the list today. We stopped by for some refreshments during our visit to Black Spire Outpost. Physical distancing measures have been removed from Disneyland, so there are no markers or dividers here. We’re so happy to be back! We love Batuu, but it just wasn’t the same without a cold drink at Oga’s. The rest of the […]

PHOTOS: First Look Inside the Reopened Oga’s Cantina in Disneyland!

Guests returned to Disneyland at the end of April, and more things around the parks have been reopening ever since!

Galaxy’s Edge

Not only are more of the Disneyland hotels getting reopening dates, but we’ve seen restaurants like Wine Country Trattoria, Tiki Juice Bar, Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo, and more set reopening dates. Many of these restaurants reopened today along with one of the most sought out spots in ALL of Disneyland — Oga’s Cantina!

We luckily scored a reservation for Oga’s Cantina when they became available, and now we’re here to show you a newly reopened space!

Oga’s Cantina is a lounge located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and it’s known for its unique boozy drinks. The restaurant has been open in Disney World for a while now, so we kind of knew what to expect, but we’re going to show you what it looks like in Disneyland right now.

Oga’s Cantina!

First, we checked in for our reservation.

Almost Time

Within a few minutes, we were directed to join a line that had formed near the restaurant. Be on the lookout for this line if you’re planning to grab some intergalactic goodies here.

Get in Line

Then, it was our time to head inside!

Oga’s Has Reopened!

Finally time to listen to those sweet tunes spun by DJ R3X and grab some drinks and food!

Oga’s Cantina is Open!

Be sure to look all around you when you’re in Oga’s Cantina — there’s a lot to check out in this space!

So Much to See

With COVID restrictions reduced and capacity increased, more restaurants are opening up across Disneyland Resort. We’re glad to have more options available, and we stopped into Wine Country Trattoria for lunch today at Disney California Adventure. Hand sanitizer stations are still available, but physical distancing has been eliminated. The host stand still has plexiglass in place. Like most restaurants around Disneyland Resort, Wine Country Trattoria is primarily using a QR code menu. However, paper menus are available upon request. Things […]

California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed an executive order today in alignment with new CAL/OSHA recommendations, according to CalMatters reporter Ben Christopher. The new legislation declares that businesses are no longer required to require face masks for workers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This comes after a series of changes in the state earlier this week as other COVID restrictions were discontinued. The law allows businesses to ease restrictions but does not require it. As always, it’s important to […]

Review: There Are Cocoa Puffs in Disneyland’s NEW Coffee Drink and We Ain’t Mad!

Today’s a big day if you’re heading to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland! That’s because BOTH Oga’s Cantina and Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo are officially reopening to guests following the park’s extended closure.

Galaxy’s Edge

And while a lot of dishes could draw you into Docking Bay 7, today we were drawn in by one item in particular — a brand new drink that was just added to the menu!

If you’re looking for an afternoon pick-me-up, just wait until you see the NEW Cold Brew Black Caf! This caffeinated drink is Cold Brew Coffee topped with Sweet Cream Cheese and Chocolate Puffs (essentially Cocoa Puffs).

Time for Some Coffee!

It certainly looks like a marriage between one of the breakfast items we loved as a kid (cereal) with one of the things we now love as adults (COFFEE!). But how did it taste?

OooOo Chocolate Puffs!

We actually thought it tasted really good! It was sweet, but not to an extreme level. We didn’t really taste a cream cheese flavor though. Instead, it tasted more like regular sweet cream.

Sometimes You Need That Coffee to Get Through a Day at the Parks!

The chocolate puffs are a fun added touch, but they do sort-of get in the way when you first start drinking this if you don’t grab a straw. So, you might want to grab (or bring) a straw so you can get more of the coffee drink itself to balance things out.

Warning! If you drink this without a straw you might get a mouthful of ice cubes when you were expecting to get a mouthful of chocolate puffs! So just be aware of that!

You Might Want to Grab a Straw!

We really didn’t have any complaints about the drink other than that though. If you’re a fan of sweet coffee drinks, we have a feeling you’ll like this. If you don’t like coffee, then this is likely a skip for you.

You can grab this drink during lunch and dinner times in Galaxy’s Edge (perfect if you need that extra boost of energy on your long day in the parks).

YUM

If you’re curious and want to try this drink for yourself, head to Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland and pick one up for $5.49. Will this drink eventually make it to Disney World’s Galaxy’s Edge? We’ll definitely be on the lookout for any updates on that and let you know what we find.
