We certainly are! And when we get a caffeine craving, one of our favorite places to head is the Starbucks in Disney Springs. They’ve often got seasonal sips, and today, we’re trying 3 NEW ones.

…and today, we opted for the Mad Tea Party, Bananaversary, and Love is Love! They’re pictured here from left to right.

So let’s get sippin’! The Mad Tea Party is black tea lemonade with passion tea, mango, dragonfruit, and a scoop of strawberries and blackberries. And while that black tea is prominent, the lemonade cuts the flavor and adds a nice sweetness.
As for the berries? You can’t really taste ’em unless you muddle them up! Or you can sip them straight through the opening. We will say that the color on this drink is SUPER fun, and we got plenty of questions about it as we walked around.

Onto the Bananaversary! This one is a mocha Frappuccino with caramel syrup and banana, topped with caramel and mocha drizzle. It tasted JUST like a banana split, but that banana flavor wasn’t overwhelmingly strong. You will get a subtle hint of coffee from that mocha syrup, but the caramel sweetens it right up.

Last but not least, we tried the Love Is Love. This sip is a Pink Drink with strawberries, topped with strawberry sweet cream cold foam. It tasted like a fun mix between strawberry Jello and a strawberry milkshake. The cold foam itself was SUPER tasty and blended seamlessly into the strawberry purée. No complaints here!

We’ve been getting LOTS of big news from Disneyland lately.
Sleeping Beauty Castle
The parks are continuing their phased reopening as safety restrictions are slowly lifted. And today, Disney announced some BIG news about when nightly fireworks will resume.
On July 4th, fireworks will return to Disneyland Park with Mickey’s Mix Magic! The show will return with its projections, lasers, and (of course) fireworks above Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Although Disney has announced that the show will be “presented nightly throughout the summer,” the Mickey’s Mix Magic website page indicates that “fireworks occur on select nights only.” So if you’re visiting later in the year — or just want to be extra safe — be sure to check the entertainment calendar for the days of your trip.

Fireworks will be returning to Disneyland Park this summer beginning July 4. Starting on Independence Day, Mickey’s Mix Magic will be presented nightly throughout the summer. Just in time for the nation’s Independence Day celebrations, Disney’s popular nighttime fireworks spectaculars are returning to the Disney theme parks!
A Disney tradition since 1957, fireworks shows are what Walt Disney called the perfect “kiss goodnight” at the close of a magical day, and this summer the skies above Disney theme parks will sparkle with color once more.
At Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, July 1st marks the start of nightly fireworks performances at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT.
“Happily Ever After” will transform Cinderella Castle with lights, projections and pyrotechnics, as moments from favorite Disney stories encourage you to grab hold of your dreams and make them come true.
And as part of the ongoing transformation of EPCOT, “EPCOT Forever” will produce a spectacle of fireworks, music and lighting effects over World Showcase Lagoon, highlighting the themes of innovation, exploration, imagination and celebration at the core of the park’s past, present and future.

Except for a few flares and fireworks around the holidays, and some sporadic fireworks testing, we haven’t really seen a full fireworks show in Disney World for over a YEAR.
Oh, How We Miss This
But, that is ALL ABOUT TO CHANGE! Fireworks will be returning to Disney World soon and we are EXPLODING (see what we did there?) with excitement!
When the parks reopened last year after the COVID-19-related closures, fireworks were suspended. At the time, Disney World shared that it was temporarily suspending its fireworks and other events that create crowds because of the concerns surrounding the pandemic.

But now, Disney World announced that fireworks will be coming BACK to Disney World starting July 1st, 2021!
EPCOT Forever Fireworks
Fireworks are set to return to both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom on July 1st, 2021. In Magic Kingdom, guests will be able to enjoy Happily Ever After. For the time being, EPCOT guests will get to enjoy the EPCOT Forever fireworks once again. Disney still hasn’t shared exactly when EPCOT’s new fireworks show, Harmonious, will debut.
