Visiting Disney World in the next few months?

Tree of Life

We’re constantly keeping an eye out for the latest updates, whether that’s price increases, new menu items, or popular souvenirs. But we also look out for park hours! And while we previously knew Disney World’s park hours through August 21st, now they’ve been released through the 28th.

From August 22nd-28th, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9AM-9PM. Remember, the After Hours BOO Bash event is also taking place on August 24th and 27th, from 9:30PM-12:30AM. You’ll have to buy a separate ticket to attend.

Meanwhile, EPCOT will be open from 11AM-9PM. And as far as special events go, this park is hosting the 2021 Food and Wine Festival!

Lastly, Blizzard Beach’s hours are 11AM-6PM. Hours have not yet been released for Disney Springs, but the week prior, it will be open from 10AM-10PM from Sunday-Thursday and 10AM-11PM on Friday and Saturday. We’ll let you know if that continues to be the case.

And don’t forget: you can Park Hop beginning at 2PM each day, as long as you have a valid Park Hopper ticket and the park you want to visit hasn’t reached capacity! Disney has been known to extend park hours as the dates in question get closer, so we’ll keep an eye out for that, too. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!

WHEN Should You Book a Trip to the 2021 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival?

So you’re planning a trip to the 2021 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!

EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival

We’ve been giving you lots of updates on what food booths will be available, how you should budget your eats, and what entertainment will be offered. But one of your biggest concerns may be about WHEN you should visit. And today, we’re breaking that all down for ya!

If You Want Low Crowds

If you’re looking for lower crowds throughout your Festival experience, you’ll want to avoid weekends and evenings. These are popular times for locals to visit! By booking for weekdays or arriving in the morning, you’re more likely to avoid long waits at the booths and that awkward looking-around-for-an-empty-table situation.

EPCOT Festival Crowds

You’ll also want to avoid the Festival’s opening day. People get EXCITED for Food and Wine, and there are bound to be big crowds on July 15th! Similarly, you should stay away from any holidays, like Columbus Day (October 11th).

Check Out the Most Crowded Park Days in 2021!

If You Want to Try a Lot of Food

Disney has confirmed 32 booths so far for the 2021 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. That’s a LOT of options! Of those 32, 8 are brand-new and 9 will not open until October 1st.

We’re here for ALL the eats!

Now, the park is likely going to be crowded for the first few days of October due to Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebrations (and the grand opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!). So if you want to take advantage of ALL 32 options, book in mid-to-late October. You’ll avoid the biggest of the 50th anniversary crowds while getting to sample eats from Brazil, India, Kenya, and more.

Check Out the Booths That Are Arriving on October 1st!

If You Want to Avoid the Heat

Disney World is located in Florida, and as you can expect, it gets HOT in the summer. If you don’t want to be sweating buckets while you browse the booths, don’t book a visit in July or August.

EPCOT gets HOT in the summer!

Instead, save your vacation until September, October, or even November and enjoy that cooler weather. The festival kicks off July 15th and you’ve got until November 20th, which is the last day of the Festival! Just remember: you may not want to book in those first few days of October when the anniversary celebrations are kicking off.

PHOTOS: You’ll Need Speed + A Secret Code to Snag Disney’s Newest Designer Ears

In 2020, 98 Disney ears were released(!!), and a whole BUNCH of new ones have already been released in 2021!

Will MORE Than 98 Ears Be Released This Year?

So far, we’ve seen mint ears, Loki ears, Star Wars ears, and much more! But now a special new pair of ears has joined the bunch. What makes these new ears so unique? Well, they’re actually part of Disney’s designer ears collection, and to get them you’ll need a secret code!

That’s right — the Karlie Kloss Designer Disney Ears are NOW available!

Karlie Kloss Designer Ears

We shared a sneak peek at these ears yesterday, but now they’re up for grabs. You can find them at Ever After Jewelry Co. in Disney Springs and in The Disney Dress Shop in Downtown Disney.

But if you want to get them, you’ll have to use the secret code — CODE KLOSS!

Remember to say Code Kloss!

The ears were designed by model Karlie Kloss and are inspired by the next generation of female coders. They have a light blue bow in the center and coding designs on the ears!

Check out those details!

These are designer ears, so they are definitely on the pricier side. One pair will set you back $98! That’s a LOT for ears made of plastic, but they do come with their own velvet bag

Velvet Bag

…as well as a display box that stands up if you fold the lid, which is nice to help store these and keep them safe.

Perfect for safekeeping!

Disney’s designer ears can sell out VERY quickly — and when we stopped by today, Ever After Jewelry Co. was down to its LAST pair! We’ll keep an eye out for a restock, but you’ll want to act FAST if you want to get your hands on these.

Wondering what souvenirs are WORTH the cost in Disney World? Check out our video below about the 30 things you won’t regret buying in Disney World.

We’ll keep an eye out for more new ear designs and let you know what we find. Stay tuned to DFB!
