We’ve seen a whole bunch of new Disney ears released lately — from mint ears to ones inspired by classic Star Wars characters!

Now it’s time to add ANOTHER new set of ears to your collection! But, to get these, you’ll need a special code!

Some of the most unique ears we’ve seen released over the past few months have been those designer ears! If you love those designer ears, love collecting Minnie ears in general, or work in or want to work in STEM-related fields, you might just need the new set of designer ears from Karlie Kloss! Disney and Karlie Kloss gave a special sneak peek at these ears recently via TikTok.

In the video, you can see the ears have a big blue bow in the center and the ears themselves are made out of a clear material covered in coding-related designs. If you want to grab these ears, you’ll be able to snatch them up tomorrow (June 11th) at Ever After Jewelry Co. in Disney Springs or in The Disney Dress Shop in Downtown Disney.

Occasionally, something will go wrong in Disney World.

There could be bad weather, a broken animatronic, or even a massive power outage that shuts down entire portions of a park! And over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance was havin’ it rough this morning.

Now, it’s not uncommon for Rise of the Resistance to temporarily close. And when it does, guests who are currently on or in line for the ride will be evacuated out. So what happens if you’re one of those people? Well today, we found out.

We were just about to board the Intersystem Transport Ship this morning when the ride closed and we were evacuated.

A Cast Member escorted us back out into Galaxy’s Edge. Depending on where you are on the ride when you get evacuated, you may be directed backstage to exit.

While no reopening timeline was given for the attraction, we were given a FastPass to use on Rise of the Resistance at any time until 8PM tonight, when the park closes.

And as expected, Rise of the Resistance is currently showing that it is temporarily closed on the My Disney Experience app.

The evacuation process was smooth, and we did appreciate that FastPass that we can use on the ride upon reopening. (Do note, though, that FastPasses are not typically used on Rise of the Resistance — they’re only employed for rare circumstances like this one.). If you ever encounter a situation like this while preparing for your battle against the First Order, you can expect something pretty similar. However, we cannot guarantee that you’ll be given that FastPass.

Chicken Guy! at Disney Springs is one of those restaurants that we feel is often underrated.

We’re big fans of the chicken tenders there, not to mention the whopping 22 sauces you can get to dip them in! And we are all about the chicken sandwiches, too, as well as the MAC AND CHEESE. And there’s about to be a brand new Chicken Guy! location in Florida!

That’s right — Guy Fieri is bringing his Flavortown vibe to Winter Park, where a new Chicken Guy! restaurant will soon open! According to Click Orlando, the new location will be the first free-standing Chicken Guy! with a drive-thru. Oh, yeah!

The new restaurant will also have outdoor seating for up to 12 people. Although no opening date has yet been announced for the new location, the company is hoping to have it ready to go by the end of the summer. We’ll keep an eye on the progress of the new Chicken Guy! and keep you updated!

The post A New Chicken Guy! Location Is Opening Near Disney World Soon first appeared on the disney food blog.

There are so many ongoing projects at Disney World right now that it’s hard to keep track of them all!

From hotels (like Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser) to restaurants (like Roundup Rodeo BBQ) to new rides (like the TRON Lightcycle Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind), there’s going to be so much to check out in the future! And if you’re a big Moana fan, then you’ll definitely be anticipating the new attraction coming to EPCOT…BUT there’s something you need to know about it first.

What Is Journey Of Water — Inspired By Moana?

Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana is a brand-new attraction coming to EPCOT! It was announced at the D23 convention in 2019. It’s part of the massive transformation of EPCOT, bringing new offerings to the Future World section of the park that was a bit outdated before it was demolished last year.

Disney hasn’t shared very much additional information on the attraction, but we’ve been slowly gathering some details over the last two years. And if you think “attraction” means that we’ll be getting a Moana ride, well, we may have to disappoint you.

So Is It A Ride?

No, Journey of Water will not be a ride. According to Disney, it’s actually a “lush exploration trail” that allows explorers to “play with magical, living water.” We don’t know about you, but that sounds really fun!

It’ll be a walk-through experience where guests will be able to interact with the water elements around them. You can currently see the concept art in action at the EPCOT Experience, where the attraction is described as a place where “water is alive and waiting to play.”

When Will It Open?

Last year when the Journey of Water poster was dropped on shopDisney, the description for the product included a grand opening date of 2021. This was the first we’d heard of an opening timeline, but the information was quickly pulled from the website.

Since then, Disney hasn’t shared anything else about when this might open. Many projects were delayed due to the pandemic, but we’ll be keeping an eye on construction progress in the park. At this time, a large portion of Future World has been demolished where the attraction is said to be located, but the construction is all happening behind walls.

However, the space left for the attraction isn’t incredibly big, so it looks like Disney may be required to do some creative design work to fit it in this area. Hopefully, the construction progress will soon go vertical and we’ll be able to see what’s going on!

We can’t wait to experience this new attraction ourselves — it seems to be unlike anything Disney has done before! We’ll let you know if any more details are released, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest!
