PHOTOS: Moana-Themed Room Furniture Being Moved into Disney’s Polynesian Resort

We’re just weeks away from the full reopening of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, set to take place in late July! With work being done on the resort’s lobby, main entrance, and Monorail station, we’re also excited to see the resort’s newly reimagined Moana-themed guest rooms!

Polynesian Resort

We visited the Polynesian this afternoon where we spotted a special delivery taking place!

We watched several pieces of furniture being rolled into the resort!

Crews were bringing in dressers, TV stands, and more into the guest room buildings.

The furniture has arrived!

We got a closer look at one of the dressers — we can’t wait to unpack our suitcases in these later this summer!

Can we get these in our homes, please?

It’s thrilling to see the finishing touches being brought in on this project we’ve waited over a YEAR to see completed!

Review: Shh! There’s Something HIDDEN in Disney World’s New Loki-Inspired Treat

We’ve been celebrating the premiere of Loki ALL day today!

Loki Billboard

And you may remember that we clued you in on some new treats that were debuting in Disney Springs for the occasion. Now, we frequently see new eats when Disney comes out with a movie or TV show, so no surprise here. But how do these Loki-inspired snacks TASTE? That’s what we’re about to find out!

First, we stopped by Amorette’s Patisserie to give the new Loki Mousse Dome a try. This baby’s a lemon chiffon cake with dulcey mousse, green apple gelee, and salted caramel crisp pearls. It’ll cost ya $9!

Loki Mousse Dome

This tasted just like a light, moist lemon cake! That lemon was the strongest flavor, but it wasn’t overpowering at all. We also got a nice crunch from those caramel pearls.

Loki Mousse Dome

And the COOLEST thing about this cake?! Slice it open and you’ll see the Tesseract inside!

It’s the Tesseract!

One downfall of this treat is that it’s very messy. No matter how carefully you munch, you’ll probably get some green on ya! But if you like fruity cakes (or are just a HUGE Loki fan), it’s definitely worth a try. Obsessed with chocolate or artificially sweet eats? You’ll probably wanna steer clear.

This one was light ‘n’ tasty!

Next, we popped on over to The Ganachery to grab the Fractured Timeline. That’s a sour apple ganache pop, and it’s $7!

Fractured Timeline

This one was REALLY good, too! The creamy sour apple filling tasted like tart candy, but it balanced well with the sweetness of the chocolate. And as for that chocolate shell — it’s high-quality, friends.

Fractured Timeline

Like the Loki Mousse Dome, this one was messy. So grab some extra napkins! Because if you’re a fan of apples or sour candy, you’re gonna want to give this a try.

This one’s messy, too!

If you’re looking for a creative way to celebrate Loki, head on over to Disney Springs! These treats are limited-time, so they won’t stick around forever. And as always, stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!
