The scheduled refurbishment of the lobby of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa has begun. This is phase one of three of the refurbishment. From the parking lot, we could see crew members painting the top of the building. The doors to the performance hall have been repainted. Today, refurbishment has begun on the lobby of Disney’s Old Key West Resort. The den area of the lobby is now walled off. A table and pressed penny machines have been pushed against the construction wall. For this first phase of refurbishment, guests can check in as normal in the main lobby. Disney Parks has shared a TikTok of a Cast Member named Mallory singing her rendition of “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from Cinderella. While singing, Mallory is steering one of the boats that transport guests across Seven Seas Lagoon to and from Magic Kingdom and nearby resorts. Under the username singingcaptain18, Mallory commented on the video “Thanks @Disney Parks for filming what I love doing the most! Driving the boats and singing to the [guests].”
