According to a post from Workers United Local 50 on their Facebook, the mask policy for Disneyland Cast Members will be changing on June 26th in light of updated CAL/OSHA guidance. Workers United Local 50 represents a number of Disneyland Cast Members working in food service.
According to Workers United, beginning on June 26th, Cast physical distancing and secondary PPE will become optional for all Cast Members.
Welcome Back to Disneyland!!
Face masks will also become optional for fully vaccinated Cast Members when working outdoors. Face coverings will continue to be required outdoors, however, for all Cast Members who are not fully vaccinated.
Additionally, all Cast Members (including those who are fully vaccinated) will still be required to wear masks indoors, in select health operations, and in enclosed vehicles.

Cast Members who feel more comfortable wearing the masks and PPE, and who want to continue to wear Disney’s issued face masks and secondary PPE (including shields, goggles, and more) will still be allowed to do so.
But what about that classic accompaniment to burgers, the almighty French Fry? Why doesn’t it get some love? Well, we’re happy to report that at least one Disney World restaurant has combined a classic cheeseburger with fries and created Cheeseburger Poutine. This was here a while back and now you can get it once again! and we are here for it!
This snack is French Fries, Ground Beef, Cheese Sauce, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles, Ketchup, and Mustard.
Cheeseburger ON fries
So it’s basically a bunless cheeseburger on fries. And it’s pretty tasty. We loved the cheese sauce (no surprise there, right?), although it did make some of the fries a little soggy. But we’ll take cheesy and soggy fries over regular fries any old day.
Cheeseburger poutine. Oh, yeah.
There was just enough ketchup and mustard to add that classic cheeseburger flavor, but not so much that it overpowered the rest. And there was a good amount of toppings, too, making this a pretty hearty snack — honestly, you could probably make a meal out of it!
SO many toppings
If we had any complaints is that the Cheeseburger Poutine was a little TOO basic and we would’ve preferred the addition of a more interesting sauce, maybe something like jalapeño ranch, which we might just order on the side next time around.
More of a meal than a snack
Overall, though, this huge snack was pretty good and is the perfect snack for anyone who loves burgers and fries. We also think this one would be a big hit with kids, too. And yes, we would eat it again. Feel free to try it out for yourself, though — it’s available at The Daily Poutine at Disney Springs for $9.99.
If we spot any other unique burger snacks, we’ll let you know (and we’ll eat them, too! )
