Ever since the parks reopened, character experiences have been a bit unusual.
Instead of parades, you’ll spot your Disney pals in cavalcades — mini-parades that run through each park. And instead of traditional meet-and-greets, they’re now waving at guests from a distance in various spots around Disney World. Today, we spotted a new physically distanced meet in EPCOT with a rare character!
Mulan is now greeting guests from the garden of the China Pavilion! You can’t get too close, but we were able to carry on a conversation with her from a distance.
Mulan has been seen in the princess cavalcades in both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, but hopefully, we’ll now get to see her in this spot more regularly. She’s met in EPCOT prior to the closure, so it’s nice to see her back!
Disney hasn’t released any information on when character meets will return to normal, so for now, we’ll continue to enjoy them from a safe distance.
