Packing for a vacation at Walt Disney World can be a little bit intimidating!

You need to remember rain gear for those infamous Florida thunderstorms, all of your comfiest shoes to keep you moving throughout the day, and things like portable chargers so you can keep up with the wait times on your phone! We have an excellent packing guide to help you get started, but even with all the lists in the world, we sometimes forget something we need. Thankfully, you don’t have to run out to CVS during your vacation, you should just be able to pick up what you need at your Disney resort’s gift shop! 

Here’s a look at a bunch of items you can pick up at the resorts. We found all of these things in Sandy Cove Gifts and Sundries at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

One of the items that’s easy to forget is sunscreen. You’re not packing for a beach vacation, right? So why would you need sunscreen? Well, let us tell you from experience, the Florida sun is no joke! Sunscreen is definitely a necessity to avoid turning into a tomato while walking around the parks. If you forget your SPF, don’t worry! The resorts have you covered.

There are even options for your little ones!

Speaking of little ones, another item you might not have brought enough of for the length of your trip is diapers. Luckily, we found this pack of Huggies in the gift shop for $10.39.

And if you forgot to bring diapers for your kiddo to use in the pool, there’s these Little Swimmers available for $12.99.

Vacation can sometimes be unpredictable, and maybe you weren’t prepared for the pollen in Florida in the spring or to eat so many rich foods around the parks. The gift shops have things like Zyrtec, eye drops, Pepto Bismol, Gas-X, contact solution, and hydrocortisone cream to help relieve different issues throughout the day!

And if you start feeling under the weather, you can grab some cough drops at your resort and rest in your room! There’s also things available like mouth wash, toothpaste, and shaving cream in case you forgot to pack them.

A lot of us have experienced the aches and pains that can pop up when you’re on your feet from rope drop to park closing, so you may be looking for some relief! The gift shops have several different brands of pain medicines, as well as things like Dramamine in case Star Tours made you super queasy! 

Florida weather is usually pretty warm, so you’re sure to work up a sweat around the parks. If you forgot your deodorant, you can pick some up as well!

The gift shops also have children’s versions of a lot of the medicine you may need. They also have things like nail clippers, pacifiers, and even an eyewear repair kit, because sometimes vacation can be unpredictable!

Maybe you need new batteries for your portable fan or you brought a nice bottle of wine to enjoy in your room but didn’t even think about how you were going to open it, head to the gift shop for help!! They also have chargers, locks, and sewing kits.

Hanging out at the pool during your stay is a great way to spend a day that you’re not in the parks. But, you may have forgotten some of the essentials like ear plugs, goggles, or ear dry! 

That’s just about all the drugstore items you can get at your resort in Disney World! We know it’s easy to forget things with all the excitement of packing for a trip, or to run out of things like diapers or sunscreen! And, if you sadly lose all your luggage when flying into Orlando, these resort shops can be your saving grace. Although the items may be a bit pricier than they would have been if you bought them at home!
