Review: Iced Tea Got an Upgrade in Disney World’s NEW Drink

Boy have we eaten a LOT today in Disney World.

Rainbow Dome Cake

It’s the first day of June, which means we’ve been sampling all the Pride Month eats in the parks. That includes giant cake slices, Dole Whip cocktail flights, and so much more! But we’re not done just yet. Because we’re stopping for a refreshing pick-me-up in Magic Kingdom!

If you’re in the mood for a mid-day sip, you may find yourself dropping by one of the Joffrey’s kiosks in the parks. And today, they’ve got a BRAND-new option: the Tart and Tangy! This drink is an “exotic” blend of iced teas, frozen lemon, and mandarin syrup.

Tart and Tangy

That sure SOUNDS yummy, but how did it taste?! Well, it was heavy on the lemon and citrus notes, but it in a good way! We found it to be SUPER refreshing. The mandarin syrup lends some added sweetness — but it’s not as sweet as, say, a McDonald’s tea.

Tart and Tangy

If you like your iced tea with lemon, you’ll LOVE this. Don’t prefer lemon in your tea? You may wanna skip! If you are interested in trying it, you can snag it for $5.69 at the Joffrey’s carts around property.

YUM.

While we were ordering, we grabbed the new Rainbow Donut, too! It’s just your classic glazed donut with colorful icing.

Rainbow Donut

It’s $4.99 and, as is the norm for Joffrey’s donuts, tasted delicious.

Delicious as usual!

If you’re in the mood for a summery sip or a quick bite, be sure to stop by Joffrey’s! The Tart and Tangy is a seasonal beverage, so you’ll want to go on and grab it before it goes away. And stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!
