It has been another eventful week in the Happiest Place on Earth!
Since we last checked in on all of the latest happenings at the Disneyland Resort, we’ve experienced the reopening of several rides, restaurants, and more! Let’s waste no time and jump right in with the latest updates.
General Updates
Shortly after Disneyland reopened, Indiana Jones Adventure adopted a virtual queue system to assist in crowding issues that its physically distanced queue was causing. Now that most distancing mandates have been lifted at Disneyland, Indiana Jones Adventure no longer uses its virtual queue system. All guests looking to ride will simply join the standby queue!
Speaking of distancing measurements going away, we noticed that physical distancing on rides and attractions has also changed. We took a trip on Pirates of the Caribbean and sat in a boat where each row was filled.
We also noticed full trains passing by on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
That’s not the only bit of attraction news! This week, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters has reopened!
Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island also reopened this week.
We hopped on a raft and took a trip to the island to check it out!
This is a great spot that’s typically quiet throughout the day and is full of fun places to explore!
Disneyland Band and Five & Dime have resumed regular performances throughout the day.
The Disneyland Band marches up and down Main Street, U.S.A., joined by Mickey and Minnie!
It’s great to see live entertainment return to Disneyland!
We spotted test cycles on Matterhorn, but construction walls are still up at this time.
Disneyland has been filled with lots of exciting weeks since the parks first reopened! More and more locations are coming back for guests to check out!

Disneyland Resort Food Updates
Food Kiosks
We’ve seen many dining locations reopen over the past several weeks, and even more have reopened since we last updated you on the latest Disneyland happenings! Over at Disneyland Park, Maurice’s Treats and Edelweiss Snacks reopened.
And at California Adventure, guests can now grab snacks at Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums and the Popcorn kiosk at Cozy Cone Motel!
Be sure to grab a snack at one of these kiosks on your next trip to Disneyland!

Lamplight Lounge
Lamplight Lounge also debuted their new “Boardwalk Dining” experience!
Basically, Lamplight Lounge just went back to its seating structure from before the closures, where Advance Dining Reservations are for the downstairs section only, and the upstairs patio section is walk-up only. The menus between the two floors are now separate from one another, so if you want a particular food item, make sure you’re seated on the correct level!
We also spotted a new food item at Lamplight Lounge Boardwalk Dining, the Pork Belly “Banh Mi” Brussels Sprouts (amaaaazing!). They’re only available upstairs, so be sure to check them out!
Lamplight Lounge is one of our favorite foodie spots in Disneyland, so we’ll be checking in for the latest from this Pixar Pier must-do!

Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff
Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff over at Pixar Pier is a great spot to snack on some tasty, colorful treats. During “A Touch of Disney,” we spotted some adorable cake pops inspired by characters from Up. Now, you can grab a new Forky Cake Pop!
Trust us, this little guy is anything BUT trash! Grab one for $5.49 next time you’re at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff!

Finally, if you’re collecting Disney’s Artfully Evil pins, we spotted a new Cruella design for $19.99.
There’s never a shortage of new merchandise in the parks!
