Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Things are starting to look a bit more normal in the park as pre-shows return to more rides and we’ve got plenty of other dining and merchandise updates to share! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s jump right on in!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Food Updates
Hollywood & Vine
Since March, guests have been able to enjoy breakfast with some Disney Junior characters at Hollywood & Vine for Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine. And, now there’s another character dining experience at the restaurant for lunch and dinner! Minnie’s Summer Dine has arrived for the season and guests can now meet Minnie Mouse and friends while they enjoy a meal.
Keep in mind that there are a few modifications to the character dining experience at Hollywood & Vine including an a la carte menu instead of buffet service and distanced character interactions.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Merchandise Updates
Keystone Clothiers
Of course, we had to do some shopping while we were at Disney’s Hollywood Studios too! So, we stopped into Keystone Clothiers and noticed a new Dr. Strange collectible toy for all the Marvel fans out there. It’s got a Dr. Strange figuring with all the accessories that helped him in the Battle on Titan.
But, it’s going to cost ya if you want to wield the powers of the mystic arts — this toy is priced at $99.99 (seriously!!).
Once Upon A Time
Over at Once Upon a Time, we found some unexpected Star Wars Wishables. Now there are three of the plushes that were included in the blind pack hanging on the rack so you can pick up RX-24, C-3PO, or a Stormtrooper without having to put your luck to the test.
They cost $12.99 each.
Mickey’s of Hollywood
We’ve also been seeing quite a few price increases on merchandise throughout Disney World, and this week we spotted another. Disney nuiMOs Plushes came onto the scene in 2021 and if you’re hoping to snag one of the miniature posable plushes, it’s going to cost you more now.
The nuiMOs Plushes used to cost $17.99 but now cost $19.99 both in stores and online.
That being said, there is still one way to score them at a discount — all Disney nuiMOs are Buy Two, Get One FREE on shopDisney right now, so you can bring the cost down to about $13 per plush if you get three online!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Miscellaneous Updates
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
We’ve been keeping you up to date on all the pre-shows returning to Disney World, and this week we found that the band was BACK together for the pre-show at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Previously, the recording studio was just a part of the line that you walked through, but now guests are directed into the room by Cast Members and asked to fill in the available space before all the members of Aerosmith come out to invite you to their show.
Of course, you still need to hop in that super speedy stretch limo to get there in time.

Tower of Terror
And, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster isn’t the only ride with a returning pre-show! Over at Tower of Terror, guests are gathered into the library for the pre-show to learn all about the Twilight Zone and the unfortunate events that have led you to use the service elevator to get to your room.
Much like other pre-shows that have returned, Disney has removed the distancing markers from the floor, and guests are asked to stand wherever there is space.
And, once on the ride, we noticed that they’re now seating guests in every single seat in the elevator.
So, this ride is almost entirely back to its normal operations before the parks closed.

Pluto Getting Guests
We also spent some time roaming around the park and noticed a new Disney character out playing on the lawn in front of The Hollywood Brown Derby — Pluto!
He was showing off his skills and balancing his bone on his nose.
New Billboard
And, on our way out we noticed a new billboard in the Hollywood Studios parking lot adverting Disney’s new show When Nature Calls with Helen Mirren.
The comedy series is on ABC every Thursday and you can catch up with this little squirrel on the latest episode!
And that’s it for another week at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for new food, merchandise, and entertainment updates (and more!) so be sure to stay tuned to DFB for the latest!
