Any day is a good day when it includes a visit to EPCOT!
We’re back with another roundup of the latest construction, food, and merchandise news from around the park — let’s dive right in and get caught up on everything that’s been happening!
EPCOT Construction Updates
The manatees at The Seas Pavilion certainly had a bit of an exciting week! Recently, we shared the news that someone had dropped an item into the manatee tank!
Divers had to go in to look for the item and wound up vacuuming the bottom of the tank. Fortunately, the manatees are safe and it doesn’t appear that the item that fell in the tank harmed them in any way.
As of the following day, the manatees were back in their tank!

Also at The Seas Pavilion, the dolphins won’t be in their tank for a few weeks and possibly up to a month. Maintenance work is currently being done and we were told that the noise of the machines bothers the dolphins because they are sensitive to noises. So, it sounds like the dolphins get to go on a bit of a “vacation” for the next few weeks!
There’s also a new Magic Shot photo op in EPCOT! We previously learned about the new “Tiny Worlds” Magic Shot in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and now this unique 360-degree photo op is available at EPCOT, too!
Be on the lookout by Spaceship Earth next time you’re in EPCOT for this cute and somewhat bizarre photo op for the whole family.

There has been a lot of work happening in the Morocco Pavilion for the past few months. On a recent visit, we noticed that another sign was painted in Pavilion.
Those are all of the general updates, now let’s dive into what’s new in the world of EPCOT food!

EPCOT Food Updates
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival
One of our favorite booths at the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is Sunshine Griddle! Their Froot Loops Shake was an instant hit, and it’s definitely one of the most Instagram-able treats at the festival.
One a recent visit, we discovered that the Froot Loops Shake is now yellow, not blue! A Cast Member said they are cycling through the Froot Loops colors, so we’ll check back and see what color comes up next!

Over at Flavor Full Kitchen, their Blood Orange Aqua Fresca drink now comes in a new souvenir glass! It comes with the drink automatically and costs $4.25. Not a bad price for a Disney World souvenir if you ask us!
One side features the Flower and Garden Festival logo (with Spike the Bee!), while the other side features a pretty flower design.
We have about one month to go before the 2021 Flower and Garden Festival comes to an end, so be sure to check these items out if you’re in EPCOT between now and July 5th!

EPCOT Merchandise Updates
Mouse Gear
We spotted a couple of cute Stitch and Angel Pandora charms on our recent visit to Mouse Gear. There is a new pair of Stitch charms, including one of him hugging Cinderella Castle (maybe he’s making amends for that time he threw toilet paper all over the castle back in 2004!).
You can complete the set with this matching Angel Pandora charm!
If you aren’t into collecting Pandora charms but you DO collect Alex and Ani, we got you covered, too! At Mouse Gear, you’ll find this pretty bracelet featuring blue Minnie Ears!
This week, it definitely looks like Mouse Gear is the place to be if you’re looking to stock up on the newest Disney World jewelry finds.

Mission: SPACE Cargo Bay
At Mission: SPACE Cargo Bay (the shop right as you exit the attraction), we spotted a few returning snack items! If you’re a fan of astronaut food, the banana flavor is back in stock.
We also spotted those super long lollipop sticks that we haven’t seen at this location for some time!
Your sweet tooth will be super happy next time to stop by Mission Space!
Italy Pavilion
If you’re into collection MagicBands, this next merchandise find is for you! We found this adorable “Arivederci Minnie Mouse” MagicBand in the Italy Pavilion!
One side of the MagicBand features Minnie Mouse…
…while the other side shows the Italy Pavilion!
This MagicBand was in a limited edition set of only 500, so grab yours for $39.99 before it sells out!
Is it time to say GOODBYE to those old MagicBands?
Be sure to stay up-to-date on all of the latest happenings from the Disney World theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs! We check back throughout the week with all of the latest food and merchandise news (along with construction updates!) so you can be in-the-know on your next vacation. Until next time, world travelers!
