15 Cheap But Filling Disney World Snacks For When You’re Ballin’ On a Budget

Disney World snacks are some of the best parts about visiting the parks.

Popcorn, yum

But let’s be real, the cost of trying every Disney snack on your list can add up quickly. So how do you maximize your snacking with a budget? We’ll tell you how! Here’s a list of the most filling snacks you can find at Disney World for CHEAP — so you can spend more time snacking, and less time worrying about your budget.

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is filled with incredible snack options, but we’ve narrowed it down to snacks with the most bang for your buck.

Main Street, U.S.A.

Let’s start with a classic, and what could be more theme park classic than Corn Dog Nuggets from Casey’s Corner for $9.99. Now that Casey’s Corner is open again, the Corn Dog Nuggets are a great on-the-go snack and easy to share with others!

Casey’s Corn Dog Nuggets

This meal comes with our fave plastic cheese, French fries, and a good portion of corn dog nuggets. For $9.99, this can be a meal for one or a snack for several! This is an especially good snack if you’ve got a few kids with you — everyone gets a few nugs!

Adventureland

Maximizing your snacks might mean prioritizing protein for all the energy you need during a day in Disney World! The Cheeseburger and Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls from Egg Roll Wagon cost $9.50, and you get 2 loaded spring rolls for a unique snack that’s easy to walk with and share with a friend. If you want to try both, you can get 1 of each!

Delicious fried goodness, if you ask us.

The Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls recently replaced the Pepperoni Spring Rolls and they are SO good. We’re still quite salty about the MASSIVE price hike these recently got — previously you could get them for 2 bucks LESS — but they’re still a substantial and shareable snack. The spring rolls might be a bit higher priced but with both rolls filled with protein and a decent size, they can be a very unique and satisfying snack.

Liberty Square

If you’re looking for a breakfast snack, the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments is a great option if you’re REALLY hungry. It’s ginormous!

Nutella and Fruit Waffle Sandwich

For $8.29, you can get a giant waffle with chocolate hazelnut spread and fruit (bananas, strawberries, blueberries). You can start your day in Magic Kingdom absolutely stuffed! It is currently available until 11AM daily.

EPCOT

EPCOT has a lot of incredible snacks, and when it’s not time for the Food and Wine Festival or any of the other EPCOT fests, there are still a few filling and very budget-friendly snack options!

France Pavilion

You can get a Full Baguette from Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie for ONLY $3.50. Let us repeat that: A FULL LOAF OF BREAD FOR LESS THAN 4 BUCKS. It comes in a cute bag and you can easily share it with your group! Or eat the whole baguette yourself, we aren’t judging.

Full Baguette from Les Halles

For only $3.50, it’s a cheap AND hugely filling snack option in Disney World. It’s a great snack to nibble on throughout the day or divvy up with friends to take turns dunking into their yummy Lobster Bisque! You can even pretend you’re in France as you stroll around the World Showcase with your baguette.

Norway Pavilion

The Eplekake from the Kringla Bakerie Og Kafe is a great-sized portion treat for $4.49. This apple cake is drizzled with caramel but isn’t overly sweet.

Eplekake

This is not a tiny dessert, and one of the best ways to maximize your Disney snacks is to look at the portion size. And for only $4.49, you can walk around with the Eplekake without having to worry about a ton of icing or a mess. This is a great morning treat to break in half and split with another hungry pal.

Hollywood Studios

Toy Story Land

Totchos from Woody’s Lunch Box are nachos made with tater tots instead of chips (yep, not just a clever name!). For $9.99, this can be a shareable snack or even a meal for one.

Totchos

The Totchos come with beef and bean chili, shredded cheese, queso, tomatoes, corn chips, green onions, and sour cream. YUM. Lots of protein for a busy Disney day!

Hollywood Boulevard

The Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe is a HUGE cookie for only $3.99! This cookie is made with cream cheese frosting sandwiched between carrot cake cookies.

The Famous Carrot Cake Cookie

This is another giant dessert that you can easily snack on all day or split with a friend. For less than $5, you get a whole lot of cookie for a low price.

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom has a few unique and satisfying snack options for people who aren’t always looking for classic theme park food.

Asia

An Animal Kingdom snack that isn’t super well known is the Chicken Fried Rice from Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe for only $5.99. Take a look at the size of the container!

That’s a big container!

You get a generous portion of filling rice and chicken! This is another snack that’s easy to share with others.

And the container makes it easy to carry around and snack all day! For only $5.99, this is one of the best filling snacks for a budget. We’ve had this as a light meal before and been totally satisfied!

Pandora

The Cheeseburger Steamed Pods from Satu’li Canteen are a favorite of ours, and if you order from the kids’ menu you can get one for only $7.99! These pods are filled with ground beef, ketchup, mustard, pickle, and cheddar cheese.

Kids’ Menu Cheeseburger Pod

The kids’ menu gets you a cheeseburger pod, chips, an orange, and a drink. If you’re extra hungry, the adult portion is $11.99 for 2 pods (this would also be good for sharing), but for $7.99 the kids’ menu option is an excellent snack or even a light meal!

Various Locations

There are a couple Disney World snack icons that we have to include, and these snacks can be both filling and budget-friendly.

Popcorn

Refillable Popcorn Buckets are located throughout all four Disney World parks. Buy a basic refillable popcorn bucket for $12 or spend a few bucks more for a fun design and you get unlimited refills for $2 each time!

Main Street Popcorn Cart

Though the initial bucket does cost $12, it can be a great savings tool if you use it for $2 refills for a quick and easy snack on the go, as opposed to paying $5.25 for a smaller portion of popcorn. And the buckets can be great souvenirs! Get one EARLY on in your trip to maximize value with refills. This is a great “hey, we’re hungry!” food to toss at ravenous children as you make your way around the parks!

Pretzels

Of course, we HAVE to talk about pretzels! There are so many options for pretzels throughout the Disney World parks and most of them are under $10. There’s the classic Mickey Pretzels and a few other unique flavors, ranging in cost from $6.99 to $7.25. You can find these at select snack carts.

We think Mickey looks great as a pretzel 🙂

In Hollywood Studios, for $7.25 you can get a Cheddar-Jalapeno Pretzel from Pretzel Palooza...

Cheddar-Jalapeño Pretzel

…or a Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel from a snack cart near Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway!

Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel

These next gigantic pretzels have a higher price tag, but they’re also filling AND easy to share. The Colossal Pretzel from Pongu Pongu in Pandora in Animal Kingdom is $10.49, but look at it!

Pongu Pongu serves up one BIG pretzel.

OK this is seriously SUCH a yummy pretzel — soft, warm, and that cheese dip? AHH! It comes with a yummy beer cheese dip and is SUPER easy to divide into huge portions for everyone in your group.

The Bavarian Pretzel is another HUGE pretzel from BaseLine Tap House in Hollywood Studios for $9.

And of course we can’t mention gargantuan pretzels without mentioning where they all started —  Germany. EPCOT’s Germany, to be exact. They’ve been serving up giant Soft Pretzels here for years and they’re quite popular!

A giant soft pretzel from Germany!

These aren’t your average Mickey Pretzels — these are massive, chewy, and go great with a beer. 🙂 Find this at the Bier und Brezlen (ahem, Beer and Pretzel) cart at the front of the pavilion. You’ll also find it at Sommerfest and the beer cart just inside the pavilion, outside the gift shops. It’ll run you about $10.
