Whether it be Food Festivals or new restaurants, we have consistently covered what’s new and fresh to taste at the theme parks here in Orlando. It’s true that different areas in the Disney theme parks offer many delicious treats and snacks to choose from, but with so many options, there’s sure to be a ghoulishly delightful treat that will send every taste bud in your mouth buzzing. Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in the Magic Kingdom, has announced new food options on the menu! So today, we decided to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios to try out 3 new foods at Docking Bay 7 in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge.
1. BATUUAN BEEF AND CRISPY TOPATO STIR-FRY
Found at Docking Bay 7 in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is where you can find these new menu items. The Batuuan Beef and Crispy Topato Stir-Fry is a Smokey Braised Beef glazed in Tamarind Sauce and served with Stir-fried Vegetables, Crispy Herbed Yucca, Pickled Onions, and Cilantro, which is priced at $19.99. The first initial bite of the beef was surprisingly delicious, it has a mongolian BBQ flavor to it and it’s absolutely amazing. All together, this dish is pretty delicious, it does have a little bit of spice to it but if you cover it with the yucca it’s fantastic.
2. PEKA TUNA POKE
For the second new menu item only at Docking 7 in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, we have the Peka Tuna Poke. This Poke Bowl is Raw Tuna tossed in a Spicy Sriracha Dressing, served with Green Papaya Salad, Pickled Mushrooms, Fresh Herbs, and Crispy Garlic, which is priced at $17.99. The Green Papaya Salad in this dish meshes very well with the spice levels so you get a nice cool and crisp bite. If you love Sriracha and raw Tuna, we highly recommend this dish. For only $17.99 you do get a large portion, you get a high amount of tuna within the bowl so we think this is worth the price!
3. OUTPOST PUFF
If you often find yourself craving something sweet, look no further, the Outpost Puff may just be perfect for you! The Outpost Puff is a Chocolate Pastry filled with Guajillo Chocolate Mousse and Green Milk Sauce finished with Thai Tea Panna Cotta, Spiced Pineapple and Confectionery Debris, which is priced at $6.99. Upon first taste, this tasty dessert was surprisingly very delicious. The only thing I didn’t like about this dessert was the Green Milk Sauce. This tastes exactly like a chocolate cream puff, it’s nice and cool but it’s more liquidy than it is creamy. In conclusion, the Outpost Puff is definitely one dish worth trying, it’s not super heavy and it’s very easy to eat.
