Hello from Walt Disney World!
We take a look at the average wait times for each attraction everrrry single week to see which ride lines are getting longer, shorter, or staying the same! Summer is in full swing and this past Sunday was 4th of July, so let’s see if people here for the holiday affected the crowd levels. Here’s a look at all the average wait times in Disney World from this week.
Magic Kingdom
Starting in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time this week with 63 minutes!
Next, we had Splash Mountain at 48 minutes, Space Mountain at 44 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 42 minutes, and Jungle Cruise at 41 minutes.
In the 30s were Astro Orbiter at 35 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 35 minutes, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 30 minutes.
Down to the 20s, we had Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 28 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 25 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 21 minutes, and“it’s a small world” at 21 minutes,
Quite a few more rides were in the teens this week compared to last. We had Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 19 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 17 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 17 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 16 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway at 16 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 14 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 12 minutes, Mad Tea Party at 11 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 11 minutes.
Rides with an average wait time of fewer than 10 minutes included Liberty Square Riverboat at 9 minutes, Carousel of Progress at 4 minutes, Country Bear Jamboree at 3 minutes, Tom Sawyer Island at 2 minutes, Enchanted Tiki Room at 0 minutes, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse at 0 minutes.
EPCOT
Over in EPCOT, Test Track yet again had the longest average wait time at 64 minutes. Nothing is ever going to beat Test Track, huh? We bet the upcoming Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will!
Then we had Frozen Ever After at 45 minutes, Soarin’ at 26 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 26 minutes, and Gran Fiesta Tour at 23 minutes.
Even shorter wait times included Spaceship Earth at 18 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 13 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 10 minutes, and Living with the Land at 10 minutes.
All of the theater shows in EPCOT had zero waits this past week including: American Adventure, Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!
Hollywood Studios
Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Slinky Dog Dash had the highest average wait time this week at 81 minutes (another ride that dominates the long wait times).
After that we had Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 57 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 53 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 52 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 43 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 42 minutes.
Following that was Alien Swirling Saucers at 30 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 18 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 13 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D at 11 minutes, and Walt Disney Presents at 10 minutes.
Animal Kingdom
Finally, in Animal Kingdom, Avatar Flight of Passage jumped up to an average wait time of 97 minutes!!!
After that was Na’vi River Journey at 43 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 38 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 36 minutes, and Expedition Everest at 30 minutes.
Looking for rides with wait times under 25 minutes? This week we had DINOSAUR at 22 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 12 minutes, Triceratop Spin at 8 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
There are alllll the wait times from Walt Disney World this week! It seems like a few rides went up slightly from last week, but those popular attractions in each park continue to dominate when it comes to the longest wait time. We’ll be here to keep an eye on the lines, so stay tuned to DFB!
