Character cavalcades are one of our favorite new things that Disney World has added to the parks since reopening.

We love the surprise element of not knowing which characters we might see next and how they just randomly turn up. And they are just SO much fun! And we’ve even got a new one to look forward to for Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration that starts later this year!

But these cavalcades aren’t ENTIRELY random. In fact, did you know that each cavalcade has a schedule for each day? Exact schedules aren’t available to guests, but there is now a way to find out general times when specific cavalcades will appear. 

How? On the My Disney Experience app — just click on the location button at the bottom and choose “Entertainment” under the dropdown and “Show List.” If you filter by “Magic Kingdom,” you get a list that looks like this. Cavalcades are listed under Entertainment now!

Clicking on a Cavalcade gives you a timeframe that the particular cavalcade can be seen. In this case, the Goofy Cavalcade can be seen from 10:25AM to 3:35PM.

Don’t want to go through all that and just need a list of the times for each cavalcade? We’ve got you covered: here are the current timelines for each cavalcade at Disney World.

Magic Kingdom

• A Goofy Cavalcade from 10:25AM to 3:35PM
• Magic Kingdom Cavalcade from 2:05PM to 5:40PM
• Mickey & Friends Cavalcade from 10:40AM to 5:20PM
• A Royal Princess Processional from 11:45AM to 4:15PM

When we checked, there were no showtimes available for Tinker Bell & The Lost Treasure. But check the app often because that could change!

EPCOT

There is only one cavalcade currently listed for EPCOT: the Princess Promenade. 

But you can catch the princesses at EPCOT from 11:15AM to 4:15PM.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There are two cavalcades to be on the lookout for at Hollywood Studios. The first is the Pixar Pals Motorcade, which you can catch from 10:45AM to 5:15PM.

The other is the Mickey and Friends Motorcade, which happens from 3:45PM to 6:45PM.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

You’ll be able to see quite a few cavalcades (aka flotillas) at Animal Kingdom on Discovery River. Here are the times:

• Discovery River Character Cruise from 9AM to 4:15PM
• Donald’s Dino Bash Flotilla from  9AM to 4PM
• Goofy & Pals Set Sail from 9:30AM to 3:30PM
• Mickey and Friends Flotilla from 10:15PM to 5PM.

So there you have it — although you won’t know the EXACT times you can catch a cavalcade at Disney World, you now have a good idea of when to be on the lookout for your favorites. And we’ll keep you updated on ALL the entertainment at Disney World, so stay tuned!
