In case you missed it, Disney dropped a TON of holiday news today!
Christmas at Magic Kingdom
Today, Disney announced that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party would be replaced with a new after hours event called Disney Very Merriest After Hours, the ICONIC gingerbread houses are returning to Disney World Resorts, tons of entertainment is coming back to the parks, and holiday ride overlays are returning — just to name a few. But with all of these announcements, we still have a few questions about what the holidays will look like in Disney World, especially regarding fireworks in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We already noticed that Disney was quiet about the return of the Holiday Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle, and it is possible that they are NOT returning this year. However, we have reason to believe that the nighttime show at Hollywood Studios (Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!) is returning in 2021!

Now, Disney did NOT include this in their many announcements today, but on Disney World’s page for the show, you’ll find a statement that says “Enjoy a holiday spectacular when this jolly fireworks display returns in 2021.” Next to the name, it still says “Temporarily Unavailable”, however this could change before the holidays roll around.

Further down on the page, it also says “Please check back later for 2021 dates and information”, so we could be seeing fireworks in Hollywood Studios for the first time in forever (pun intended)!
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!
The show includes several popular holiday tunes with projections, lasers, and fireworks! It features scenes from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Pluto’s Christmas Tree, Mickey’s Christmas Carol, and Beauty and the Beast. There’s even a bit of “snoap” involved!

Again, this has not been confirmed with an announcement from Disney, but we’ll certainly be on the lookout for one. We’ll continue to bring you the latest Disney Parks news, so stay tuned for more!
