As guests continue to travel to Disney World, we’ve given you updates on what the airport and upcoming travel may look like during your vacation.
But, there have been questions on what international travel could look like soon, as some countries have began to lift their restrictions. And, we might have an idea of how new international travel policies could be incorporated at airports moving forward.
Twenty-four trade organizations have developed “A Framework to Safely Lift Entry Restrictions and Restart International Travel” to provide to the federal government. These organizations, like the U.S. Travel Association (of which Disney happens to be a member), have provided detailed steps regarding how to lift international travel restrictions and still follow health and safety standards.
The new policy is looking to quickly lift entry restrictions between the U.S. and UK, allowing vaccinated people from non-high-risk countries to be able to also travel to the U.S.. Various principles would be followed, like the point to “replace blanket travel restrictions with entry requirements that are based on an individual’s risk profile and a country’s epidemiological trends.”
