The day has finally arrived…‘Ohana has REOPENED at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (oh, how we have missed you)!!
The restaurant will be serving a family-style breakfast and dinner starting today. We’ve already shared details with you about the menus that have been announced for this spot and a HUGE noodles update, but now it’s finally time to eat! Today, we’re sharing a first look at a reopened ‘Ohana and its breakfast menu.
When we arrived at ‘Ohana we checked in for our reservation using the My Disney Experience app and soon it was our time to head inside.
Once inside the restaurant, we got to sit down at our table and enjoy the views all around us. In ‘Ohana you’ll find all kinds of tikis, tropical plants, and more.
Plus, you can’t beat that view of the resort, the water, and (in the distance) Magic Kingdom.
While breakfast here used to feature characters like Mickey, Lilo, and Stitch, the characters will NOT be present during breakfast for now. Our server told us they all went on vacation to Hawaii and haven’t returned yet! That’s an important thing to keep in mind if this used to be your go-to character breakfast spot.

When you arrive, there are QR code menus on the tables…
…but you can also request print menus!
There is also an option for an allergy-friendly print menu.
As we mentioned, breakfast here is served family-style (which is the same as it was prior to the pandemic). Breakfast starts off with some freshly-made pineapple-coconut breakfast bread! YUM!!
You’ll also get to enjoy some seasonal fruit.
Then, you and your family will get to chow down on the breakfast skillet. The skillet includes Hua Paka (scrambled eggs), Uala Kahiki (fried potatoes), biscuits, Pua’a (pork breakfast sausage links and Hawaiian-style ham topped with pineapple compote)!
The skillet also comes with Mickey-shaped waffles as well as Stitch-shaped waffles.
If you are looking for plant-based options, there is a plant-based breakfast skillet available. This includes “eggs,” Uala Kahiki (fried potatoes), cinnamon-sugar doughnut, “sausage,” a fruit plate, and waffles.
And we can’t leave out those specialty drinks! ‘Ohana’s breakfast menu has options for everyone in the family to enjoy. You’ll find non-alcoholic specialties like Kona Sourced Coffee…
…and drinks based on characters like the Lilo Smoothie, Moana Smoothie, and Stitch Smoothie.
We tried the Stitch Smoothie today!
There are also specialty beverages available including a Mimosa-Your-Way and the Lapu Lapu.
One specialty drink that you won’t find on the menu right now is the Bloody Mary Flight! Our server mentioned it, and we were able to get it!
The flight has Tequila, Vodka, and Whisky Bloody Marys! The Bloody Mary flight cost $17. We’ll be sharing a full review of our breakfast experience at ‘Ohana soon, so stay tuned for that! In the meantime, if you’re hoping to stop by ‘Ohana for breakfast or dinner in the future, be sure to check and see if you can grab reservations for your trip.
We’ll keep an eye out for more news about restaurant re-openings all over Disney World and let you know what we find. Check back with us for all the latest Disney news!
