Ever since Disney World reopened, we’ve had a bit of a problem with food in Magic Kingdom.
At first, not very many restaurants were open, causing Mobile Order wait times to rise and windows to get backed up. Then, we had issues finding places to eat later in the evening, because several spots closed before the park did. But as more restaurants reopen, it helps to alleviate those problems, and now it looks like one of our favorites could come back soon!
Columbia Harbour House has been closed in Magic Kingdom since the reopening, and part of the restaurant was even used as an overflow queue for Peter Pan’s Flight. Instead, the restaurant’s menu has been available at Tomorrowland Terrace in its absence. But now, there have been some menu changes for Columbia Harbour House online, leaving us wondering if we can expect a reopening announcement soon!
The adult menu has mostly been unaffected, but we noticed several updates to the allergy-friendly section of the kids’ menu. In the Gluten/Wheat Allergy-Friendly section, the chicken nuggets have been replaced by a Shrimp Skewer for $7.69 and the Garden Salad has been replaced by Grilled Salmon for $7.69 as well.
For those with an egg allergy, Grilled Salmon is offered in place of the chicken nuggets (for $7.69) and a Shrimp Skewer has taken the place of the salad (for $7.69). The same is true for the milk allergy menu and the peanut/tree nut allergy menu. The replacement has also been made for those with soy allergies, except the shrimp comes with Dannon® Danimals® Smoothie, GoGo squeeZ® Applesauce, and a small Dasani water while all the other menu updates include “your choice of side” with water or milk to drink.
The only menu change for adults comes on the Peanut/Tree Nut Allergy-friendly menu, where the Chicken Pot Pie that was previously available has been removed, along with the Chicken Breast Nuggets. Both of these items remain on the regular menu, but not in an allergy-friendly version. Although, you’ll get a few chicken nuggets if you order the allergy-friendly Trio Platter.
Those are all the menu changes we have right now, but we’ll make sure to update you if we get any more news from Columbia Harbour House! We’ll be looking out for a possible opening date, so stay tuned to DFB.
