We are SO excited about the upcoming Disney Cruise ship!

Disney Cruise Line has been hard at work developing the Disney Wish and we’re so excited to head on board when it launches next summer. We’ve already seen many of the amazing dining offerings and more coming to the ship, and now we have more information on ADULTS-ONLY fun!

Disney cruises are well known for having amazing offerings for kids, but guests ages 18 and older have some pretty awesome options too! According to Imagineering teams, the Disney Wish has been “purposefully designed with adults’ vacation needs in mind – including more relaxation, more variety, more accessibility, and more storytelling than ever before!”

Let’s take a look at some of the adults-only options!

Spa Offerings

Disney officially announced a few spa offerings coming to the trip including Disney Cruise Line’s first-ever outdoor spa retreat, standalone spa, and standalone barbershop experiences.

Outdoor Oasis at Senses Spa

The Outdoor Oasis at Senses Spa is a dedicated outdoor relaxation space that will have whirlpool spas, plush loungers, and plenty of space for open-air yoga.

The Outdoor Oasis is an extension of the Disney Cruise Line signature Rainforest experience which has been completely reimagined for the new ship.

In the Disney Wish spa, guests will find the fleet’s first ice lounge for use with thermal therapies, plus favorite elements like heated ergonomic loungers; sensory spa showers; and sauna, steam, and dry chambers.

The spa also looks like it will have accompanying products.

WOW. What an amazing and relaxing space!

Untangled Salon

The ship features the Untangled Salon, inspired by Tangled. This full, standalone spa will offer haircuts, styling, manicures, pedicures, teeth whitening, and skin treatments.

As you can tell, the salon will have Rapunzel-inspired theming with shades of purple and gold, floating lantern light fixtures, custom cut metal privacy screens with Rapunzel’s paintings, and a magical flower chandelier.

Hook’s Barbery

For men, there’s a twist on a traditional European men’s salon with Hook’s Barbery, inspired by Peter Pan. This salon will offer cuts, shaves, nail care, and skincare. PLUS, this spot comes equipped with a hidden bar stocked with pre-Prohibition bourbons, vintage whisky and port, aged rum, and premium spirits.

As for the theme of the space, expect to see dark woods, leather chairs, ornate gold mirrors, an inlaid wooden map of Neverland, a hidden pocket watch, a hook, and even a visit from Tinker Bell.

Bars and Lounges

Speaking of bars, there are THREE new upscale bars and lounges that were announced.

Keg & Compass

First up, the Keg & Compass will be the Disney Wish’s signature pub inspired by the architectural style of a late 1800s Norwegian sailor’s map room and the rich folklore of Norse seafaring. This bar will feature a grand map in the ceiling, references to ocean lore, and details of sea-related Disney characters like Ursula and Moana. Plus, check out that map to spot some important locales related to The Walt Disney Company and, specifically, the design and construction of the Disney Wish.

This spot will be a great location to watch live sports, news, and major broadcast events while sipping on a specialized selection of beers (including three custom craft brews available exclusively aboard the Disney Wish!), liquors, wines, and cocktails.

Nightingale’s

Nightingale’s is a piano bar inspired by the rendition of “Sing Sweet Nightingale” sung in Cinderella. Expect an extensive menu of fine wines and hand-crafted cocktails.

The space has a soft metallic palette with a bubble-inspired signature chandelier and a vibrant lounge. Nightingale’s will sit just off of the lobby and act as somewhat of an extension of the fairytale-inspired Grand Hall.

The Bayou

And FINALLY, Disney Cruise Line also announced The Bayou, an informal lounge themed to (You guessed it!) The Princess and the Frog! This bar will have the theme of magnolia blossoms, lily pads, and a canopy of twinkling fireflies — much like the enchanted marsh from the film. We’ll see a menu of creative cocktails, specialty coffees, and signature beignets. Plus, get ready for live entertainment and musical performances!
