Disney World has not yet brought FastPass+ to the parks, so we’ve been wondering about the future of FastPasses.
Will FastPass return to Disney World soon?
FastPass+ is a system that allows you to pre-book a couple of rides before you get into the parks. We’ve recently seen FastPass kiosks in the parks (and some of them are on!), but there hasn’t been word of when the popular system will be back. Now, Disneyland Paris is implementing a new system of paid FastPasses, called Disney Premier Access.
With the Disney World FastPass+ system, FastPasses were included with guests’ park tickets. So guests could choose a few rides to pre-book for free.
Fastpass Kiosks in Magic Kingdom
With the new Disneyland Paris Disney Premier Access program, guests can purchase Premier Access (basically FastPasses) for between €8 to €15 per person, per attraction. That’s about $9 to $18. Guests purchase Premier Access using the Disneyland Paris app or their Disney account, or they can purchase them from Cast Members inside the parks. Guests must be inside the Disney park to purchase Premier Access.

When they purchase Premier Access, guests choose the attraction they want and a time slot, purchase the Premier Access, and then return to that attraction in the time slot they chose. They present a QR code from their app and then are admitted to the fast lane of the attraction. Guests can purchase “a maximum of 3 Disney Premier Access for each attraction per Guest per day, and up to 12 Disney Premier Access for one attraction and one time slot at a time, depending upon availability.” There is limited availability of Premier Access passes.

Guests not wishing to purchase Premier Access in Disneyland Paris still need to reserve their passes for certain popular attractions for physical distancing purposes. They will reserve passes in a similar way to the Premier Access, but the passes are free and they are admitted to the standard attraction line instead of the fast lane.
FastPass signs have actually been removed from some rides!
