Lots of things have changed at Disney World and Disneyland over the past several months.
One of the big things we’ve seen particularly in Disney World is that generally all of the restaurants that used to offer buffet-style meals have been converted to family-style meals, prix fixe menus, or a la carte dining. But, when Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at Disneyland Resort started offering its character dining breakfast/brunch again today we experienced something different.
Buffets are BACK in Disneyland! Yes, you read that right. When we visited Storytellers Cafe this morning for the character dining breakfast with Mickey and friends we found that this spot is serving up breakfast BUFFET style and guests are able to serve themselves.
The buffet includes a variety of items including sausages and bacon…
…Mickey waffles (of course)…
…fruit…
…and more.
Breakfast is priced at $49 per adult and $29 per child. You can see more details about the buffet’s cold selections…
…hot selections…
…and served selections based on this spot’s online menu.
So, if you’re looking for a buffet in Disneyland, it seems Storytellers Cafe’s character breakfast/brunch is the way to go (note that the character dining brunch here is only offered on certain days and is priced sightly differently). We will be sharing a first look at this reopened character dining experience as well as a full review of our time here soon, so be sure to check back with us for that.
In the meantime, you can watch our video below about what’s going to be different about your next Disneyland trip.
