We’re just days away from the 4th of July and we’ve already seen a number of themed snacks arrive in Disney World.
Cloudy Day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
We’ve had a stand-out treat at Beaches & Cream, and a 4th of July cupcake at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Today we spotted a classic snack in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that has received a bit of a makeover just in time for the 4th!
Sometimes there’s nothing better than chowing down on a delicious funnel cake covered in ice cream in Disney World. Over at Epic Eats in Disney’s Hollywood Studios you can some for you and your friends and family to enjoy. We’ve seen some special, themed funnel cakes come to this spot in the past, and today we found another one!

It looks like the classic funnel cake topped with strawberries has received a 4th of July makeover!
OooOoo Look at that Funnel Cake!
While the ice cream is blue in color, it is the traditional soft-serve vanilla ice cream that is usually served with this treat. Specifically, this is a funnel cake with strawberry topping and soft-serve vanilla ice cream (turned blue), topped with some fun sprinkles.

Again, this is essentially just Epic Eat’s traditional strawberry funnel cake (which we’ve had this before) with a new limited-time look. But, the mix of the bright red and bright blue colors made this treat very fun to look at.
Our reporter had several people walk up to them to ask about it! So be warned, if you grab this treat you might have some fellow park friends ask you where you got it (and then you’ll get to look like a pro and point them to Epic Eats).
Funnel Cake With a View
Not only does it look pretty, it tastes delicious too!! The strawberry topping was like a strawberry compote (similar to what we had in another treat recently), which helped the treat from becoming too soggy. Of course, the center of the funnel cake does get pretty soggy quickly because of all the toppings, but the outside stayed nice and crunchy. And the mix of the flavors was great!
Even Dale wanted a bite of this limited time treat! We tried to give him some, but he had to say hello to more friends. Next time Dale!
