PHOTOS: Trader Sam’s Reopens at Disneyland Resort

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel is a classic Disney spot! From the creative cocktails to the crazy shenanigans like sinking seats and volcanic eruptions, there’s more to this bar than just food and drinks! It’s one of those places where you go for the experience as much as you do the great food!

Trader Sam’s reopened alongside the Disneyland Hotel and Tangaroa Terrace on July 2nd, so we went over to check it out!

If you want to grab a seat at Trader Sam’s check out the new virtual queue that they’ve set up! For outdoor dining, you can join this queue any time after 11AM, while the indoor dining queue opens up at 4PM! Either way, you can scan the QR code near the restaurant’s entrance to join the queue.

Today, there weren’t many people lined up at the classic bar, which seems about right considering the virtual queue makes it so you don’t have to stand in line.

We joined the virtual queue and after 45 minutes, we sat down at the outdoor accommodations.

During the daytime and the evening, there’s plenty of outdoor seating!

And in the afternoon, the indoor seating and bar open up!

Now, for the most important question…what did we get? Let’s get into it!

There were a few menu changes that we spotted prior to the reopening. You can see those here! Now, let’s get into the eats. To start off we got the Panko-crusted Long Beans served with Togarashi Aïoli!

Next, we got the Hawaiian Platter with Furikake seasoned Thai Jasmine Rice and Macaroni Salad with Poached Chicken Breast!

Finally, we grabbed the Angus 1/2 lb Hawaiian Cheeseburger with Grilled Pineapple, Applewood-smoked Bacon, Havarti Cheese, Butter Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, and Sweet-and-Spicy Spread, served with Sweet Potato Fries!

We had a great time being back at Trader Sam’s! It was nice to stop by a classic Disneyland spot and have a nice bite to eat! Our full review is coming soon, so keep your eye out for that!
