We stopped by this sandwich shop with historic origins recently to try one of their newest menu items: the Cuban Sandwich!
Earl of Sandwich has a lot of delicious hot sandwiches on their menu, along with options for cold ones, some pizzas, salads, and wraps!

The Cuban Sandwich came out earlier this month, and it’s only planning to stay for a limited time!

We hurried down to try it before it’s gone! The sandwich has tender carnitas, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard sauce on it! Like all the hot sandwiches here, it’s served on warm, toasted bread.

Like we’ve come to expect from all the sandwiches at this spot, the Cuban Sandwich was delicious! There was a LOT of tender meat on it, and the pickles inside provided a crisp crunch and lots of flavor. The textures inside were all good, with the crunchy crust on the bread and soft inside, tender meat, and melty cheese!

We wished the bread had been toasted a little more because it got a little soggy on the inside fairly quickly. But we think if you’re a fan of Cuban sandwiches in general, this one won’t disappoint! It’s a fairly standard Cuban, so it might also not be the best one you’ve ever had.
Another look inside
This is a nice option if you’re looking for a good, solid meal in Disney Springs! There was plenty of meat, so the sandwich was very filling. You need to be a pickle fan, though (or ask for it without the pickles) because you could definitely taste that flavor strongly in the sandwich. If you would rather have a lighter meal or a snack, this might be too much food for that!
