Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream at Disney California Adventure serves up sweet treats that are perfect for beating the heat! Located on the Buena Vista Street section of Disney California Adventure, it’s a great spot to cool down and enjoy an ice cream sundae!
Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream
Clarabelle’s officially reopened on July 8th and we stopped by to get the scoop (pun intended)! In the past, we’ve loved dishes like the Oswald Sundae and the “Whole Herd” Ice Cream Bar, so we’re excited to be back!
We actually stopped by this ice cream spot twice! One time we did Mobile Order and another time we did the stand-by line — luckily both options were very quick since this spot wasn’t too busy. Inside, you can spot the menu which has plenty of excellent ice cream bars (which you can customize with your choice of chocolate and toppings) and triple-scoop sundaes!
Clarabelle’s has reopened!
Today we grabbed two ice cream bars! First, we got the Blue Raspberry Bursts Ice Cream Bar with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Milk Chocolate Shell, and Blue Raspberry Popping Candy. This is a sneaky one! At first, you’re enjoying the rich vanilla bean ice cream and the creamy milk chocolate, and then suddenly the popping candy hits you! It’s a surprise in the best way possible and very refreshing on a hot day.
The Blue Raspberry Burst Bar!
For our second bar, we grabbed the “Whole Herd” Bar with Chocolate Ice Cream, Milk Chocolate Shell, and ALL the Toppings! This one was over-the-top and just as delicious as we remember! The ice cream itself was soft and decadent, and so was the chocolate shell! Crispy pearls, chocolate chips, popping candy, sprinkles…this bar really has everything, and as our reporter said, turns your mouth into a disco party! This was our favorite ice cream bar of the two we tried. We honestly think this is one of the best Disney snacks that no one is talking about!

We LOVED the bars at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream! Each bar is $5.69, and with it being a customizable and fresh treat, we’ve gotta say it’s probably a better deal than the classic Mickey bar. If you’re in Disney California Adventure and you’re looking for some great ice cream, this is the spot for you! Plenty of great topping options and delicious ice cream make this a must-try!
