The 10 Best VALUES at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival

The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival kicked off yesterday, and like any other EPCOT festival, there are a LOT of food and beverage items to choose from.

It’s time for the Food & Wine Festival!

If you’re looking for the most bang for your buck, we have a list of TEN “value” items you should consider getting across the festival booths! Whether it’s for their larger portion sizes, pricier ingredients, or hidden savings, we hope this list helps you save a little bit of money as you make your way around the festival!

Chilled Crab and Avocado Parfait with Caviar from Rotunda Bistro

We’re kicking off our list with a brand new booth for 2021, Rotunda Bistro! This is a great place to stop if you’re a fan of all things seafood. Depending on what you’re ordering, seafood can run a little higher in cost, which is why we were THRILLED to see that they have a dish WITH CAVIAR for only $6.50!

Chilled Crab and Avocado Parfait with Caviar

Caviar is a pretty pricey ingredient, so for this dish to only cost $6.50 is a pretty great value. We DID wish there was more caviar in our dish, however (hey, if you’re gonna toss us pricey fish eggs for under $7, let’s go big or go home!).

Shrimp and Coconut Curry Noodles from Noodle Exchange

Another brand new booth this year, Noodle Exchange is all about — you guessed it — noodles. While we were impressed with all of their food items, the Shrimp and Coconut Curry Noodles were our favorite and were very substantial!

The best part? This larger portion of food is available for just $6.25! You can definitely fill up on this if you’re a light eater, and you can’t beat those prices.

Tuna Poke from Hawai’i

Hawai’i is one of our favorite returning booths at the festival, and part of the reason why is their Tuna Poke! It comes with Eel Sauce, Spicy Mayonnaise, and Crispy Shrimp Chips.

You gotta be into poke to truly enjoy this dish, but if it’s up your alley, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much food you’ll get for just $7.

Schinkennudeln from Germany

The Schinkennudeln from Germany is a Food and Wine classic for many reasons, not the least of which being that it is just so dang delicious.

Schinkennudeln

Better yet, the Schinkennudeln could be one of THE best values at the festival in terms of price vs. portion size! It clocks in at only $4.50, making it one of the cheapest savory dishes in the festival (that doesn’t skimp on portion size!).

Corned Beef Corner Route from Flavors from Fire

The next “value” item on our list is the Corned Beef Corner Route from Flavors from Fire! This dish is a generous-sized portion of Smoked Corned Beef with Crispy Potatoes, Cheese Curds, Pickled Onions, and Beer-Cheese Fondue.

The Corned Beef Corner Route

You can dive into ALL of that delicious food (and all of that beautiful cheeeeese) for just $5.50!

The Donut Box from The Donut Box

This next one is a fantastic value if you’re traveling in a larger group! The Donut Box offers a rotating menu, featuring a wide variety of sweet and tasty individual Daily Donuts for $5 a piece.

The Donut Box: Pack of the 4 Daily Donuts

However, you can get a box of four Daily Donuts (called The Donut Box) for $16 — that’s a saving of $4! If everyone wants a donut, definitely grab the Box and save a few bucks — you can put away that savings to purchase more festival items!

Wine Flight from Greece

We wanted to make sure we threw in a beverage menu item that offered a great value, and you can find it at Greece! Their Wine Flight is only $6.50, making it one of the cheaper wine flights across the entire festival.

The flights are a great way to try multiple menu items at once, and this one doesn’t run up your tab at all!

Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp from Australia

Our next value menu item on our list is the Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp from AustraliaThis dish includes three large pieces of shrimp, which, like we mentioned before, can sometimes be a bit pricey when you’re eating out.

Luckily, this dish is only $6! Check it out next time you visit the Food and Wine Festival!

Capirotada de Chocolate from Mexico

How about some dessert? In general, the dessert items at the festival are cheaper than the savory dish items, typically around the $4 mark. While the Capirotada de Chocolate from Mexico is a little pricier at $5.50, you’re getting an excellent value in terms of portion size.

2019 Capirotada de Chocolate

This is Abuelita Chocolate Bread Pudding served with a Chocolate Crème Anglaise, and it’s a classic Food and Wine dessert and one of our favorites from year to year. Not only are you getting more bang for your buck, but the amazing taste alone makes it some of the best $5 you’ll spend at the festival.

Strawberry Cheesecake Soft Serve prize from Emile’s Fromage Montage

Last but not least, we wanted to include an item that may or may not be considered an immediate “value” — depending on how you’re planning on tackling the festival! You can participate in Emile’s Fromage Montage, a fun Cheese Crawl of sorts through the festival.

Cheese Crawl!

Once you complete the “Crawl” and order all of the items included, you can redeem your passport for a FREE dessert — a delicious Strawberry Cheesecake Soft Serve!

Strawberry Cheesecake Softserve — Emile’s Fromage Montage Prize!

Keep in mind that all of the items on the Cheese Crawl combined cost $23.50 before tax, so this is really only a value if you’re already planning on ordering the snacks included — but if you do, you can’t beat FREE.

BONUS! The Italy Booth

Surprise! We have a bonus 11th value you should consider on your next trip to the Food and Wine Festival! The entire Italy Booth is a bonus selection because when you first glance at the menu, the prices may be a little shocking! Where most items range from $4-8, the food items in Italy range from $11-13! Totally not a great out-of-pocket value if you ask us!

Italy

However, we heard not too long ago that the Disney Dining Plan could return sometime in 2021. If it returns before the end of the festival, Italy is a fantastic way to put those Snack Credits to good use! All three food items and Snack Credit eligible, which is a WONDERFUL value!

Chicken Ravioli

Be warned that historically, Italy is not the best booth at the festival (and once again this year, we were a bit disappointed!). While Italy may not be a highlight of your Food & Wine adventures, you can at least get some pretty decent mileage with those Snack Credits, should the Dining Plan return.

We hope this list gave you some fun ideas for ways to save a few bucks on your next trip to the Food and Wine Festival! Most of the items included on this list come in at UNDER $7 apiece, which gives you more cash to spend elsewhere (like on some cool Food and Wine swag!).

Be sure to read all of those Food Booth reviews so you can get an even better idea of what the festival is like this year, and be sure to follow along since MORE booths are set to open on October 1st!
