We’ve known about the reopening of the resort for a while now, but were left in the dark about whether or not Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Tiki Bar would be back any time soon…until today! Trader Sam’s officially reopened this afternoon and we, of course, got there as soon as we could to get some tiki drinks! But the line to get in got a bit crazy!
When we showed up to Trader Sam’s, there was a line to get your name into the virtual queue for the grotto.
This was the line to get INTO the virtual line!
We got on the list and later got a text to go inside (WHOOP WHOOP). Thankfully we got there early enough, because the virtual queue has now been CLOSED for the rest of the day!

The virtual queue reached up to 5 HOURS today to get into Trader Sam’s. That’s a long time to wait for some cocktails! We signed up early and waited for a little over an hour to be called inside. But the tiki bar is popular, and it’s also pretty small inside, so that combo definitely contributed to that long wait time.
With these awesome Cast Members, who could blame all those people for wanting to get in here?!
