OK y’all, buckle up! There is a LOT of new stuff going on at Disney Springs this week!
If you don’t usually hit up the Springs on your Disney World trip, you may want to reconsider this week, because we’ve seen super yummy new snacks with the Flavors of Florida event, new pins and magic bands, and the most crazy expensive necklace ever (after). (You’ll see why that’s funny in a sec… .)
Disney Springs Food Updates
Let’s start with the biggest news: the Flavors of Florida Event has officially started in Disney Springs!
Restaurants around the Springs are featuring new treats that celebrate classic Florida flavors! We’re seeing a lot of key lime pie–flavored things, orange and other citrus flavors, and some good ol’ southern cooking! Because we don’t ever want to let you down (or miss any of the new treats!) we’re going to try all the new snacks! Here are a few that we’ve already reviewed!
Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew
We tried the new Key Lime Pie Donut in Disney Springs, and it was packed with flavor!
The donut is stuffed with Citrus Custard and topped with fluffy, toasted meringue!
There is plenty of citrus flavor in this one, and it’s a must-have for key lime fans!

The Ganachery
Did you know you can get Orange Bird in the form of a chocolate square? At The Ganachery, there’s an Annual Passholder Exclusive Orange Bird Ganache Square right now!
Also there for the Flavors of Florida Event is the Key Lime Ganache Pop!
This is a great stop for people who love unique chocolate!

Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC
Our favorite Orange Bird is all over Disney Springs right now! You can find him near Erin Mckenna’s Bakery NYC, which has an Orange Blossom Cupcake to celebrate Florida Flavors!
It may not seem like it, but this cupcake is hiding some BIG flavor!

Amorette’s Patisserie
We constantly find gorgeous and tasty treats at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs! The patisserie is located close to World of Disney and features little cakes that are beautifully decorated!
For Flavors of Florida, Amorette’s had the Florida Sunset Eclair!

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’: Floradora Cocktail and Tender Fried Gator
Is it really a Flavors of Florida event if there’s no gator? Don’t worry, we found some! It’s over at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Kitchen! The restaurant has tons of great southern food year-round, and right now they’re serving up Fried Gator Bites!
If you already love eating gator or if you’re a little adventurous and want to try it out, we’d recommend Chef Art Smith’s for sure! It was similar to their fried chicken, but you could still taste the difference! And while we were there, we had to try their Floradora Cocktail, of course!
The cocktail was a mix of Fords gin, freshly muddled raspberries and freshly squeezed lime juice, house-made simple syrup, and a splash of Q Spectacular ginger beer. You can read our full review of the gator bites and Floradora cocktail at the link below!

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
Do Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar Shrimp Tacos with Watermelon Salsa look familiar to you?
These aren’t really new, but they’re listed as Jock Lindsey’s special for the Flavors of Florida, so we tried them again!

Vivoli il Gelato: Key Lime Cheesecake Shake and Lemon Blueberry Cookie Sandwich
If you’ve ever thought a milkshake was maybe just missing something, try Vivoli il Gelato’s Key Lime Cheesecake Shake — they added a whole cheesecake to it!

Switching back to the savory, you can stop by the Polite Pig to grab their Shrimp and Grits!
Spoiler alert: we thought they were super delicious. And there was a Florida Flavors cocktails to go with our shrimp! It’s the Bees Knees Cocktail!
The cocktail has Honey Gin, Orange Liqueur, Lemon Juice, and Bitters, and we thought it was a perfect summer drink!

Morimoto Asia: Florida Frog Leg “Lollipop” Tempura and Florida Sunshine Lager
After you’ve tried Chef Art Smith’s gator bites, the next step for adventurous eaters is the Florida Frog Leg “Lollipop” Tempura at Morimoto Asia!

Finally, we’ve got the Green Gator Cocktail at House of Blues!
