Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for?
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
We couldn’t be happier to head back to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor now that the sweets shop has reopened with ice cream flavors everyone will enjoy! While the Plaza is already a popular spot for fans, you’re going to want to stop by even more now that the Cookie Dough flavor has returned!
You can try the flavor in a cup, cone, sundae, or Mickey Kitchen Sink. But, we decided to keep things simple with the Single Scoop Cone, which comes with chocolate Mickey ears for $4.99.
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
The Emporium
Looking for a stylish accessory to complete your outfit AND block out the sun? Then, the NEW Pink and
Purple Ombré Hat is the cutest item to tote around during your next park day! The front features a bejeweled Mickey head, silhouettes, stars, and signatures…
…while the back is wrapped in the same ombré colors and Disney Parks logo for $27.99.
Now that a new week has started, you might already be ready for a nap after your working days! And, it only makes sense for the new Disney coffee mug to have “If You Love Me Let Me Sleep” on one side…
…with sweet Lady taking a snooze in her dog bed on the back for $14.99!
We’re always looking forward to the weekend, so the “I Need A FastPass To Friday” is a pretty fitting way to kick off the day! We’ve already seen this quote on a tumbler, but this is the first time we’ve spotted it on a mug for $14.99.
Of course, after you’ve gotten some beauty sleep, you can also sip on your morning coffee of the golden “Hello Gorgeous” that places Cinderella Castle on the front with plenty of sparkles for $14.99.
Mickey might be the mouse with the most, but Donald Duck has the “Best Personality,” according to Disney’s newest mug! You can pick up the new cup for $14.99 the next time you’re in the Magic Kingdom.
We can’t help but want to add ALL of these to our kitchen cabinets! Which one are you going to get ASAP in the parks?!
Take a look at all the details on the new Disney mugs here!
Plaza del Sol Bazaar
You might be exiting the Pirates of the Caribbean when you walk through the Plaza del Sol Bazaar gift shop. But, you can find the Jungle Cruise Youth Shirt there instead! The tee reminds us of a postcard from the expedition to the backside of water for $19.99. And, it seems like the perfect attraction souvenir for your kiddos who love adventure and comedy!
Memento Mori
While we spotted the Madame Leota Pillows last year in the Haunted Mansion gift shop, they have returned in time for the start of the Halloween season at Memento Mori! If this isn’t the cutest Halloween decoration EVER, we don’t know what is!
Star Traders
Speaking of Halloween, you can get your scare on with the Monsters Inc. Mike Scarer Youth Shirt…
…or groove along to the Magic Kingdom’s music this Fall with the Spanish Buzz Youth Shirt for $19.99 each!
Also at Star Traders, you can go a little mad over the Cheshire Cat Hat! The new-to-us accessory features the famous disappearing cat on the front…
…with his signature pink stripes along the bottom side of the hat’s brim for $27.99.
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Jungle Cruise
As Disney World works to complete its Jungle Cruise refurbishment by the end of the summer, we spotted a few more elements added to the attraction queue!
Now that there will be new storylines and characters throughout the ride, one such plot will follow the Society of Explorers and Adventurers (or SEA for short) as they make their way through the jungle.
The queue now has boxes directed to SEA’s Mystic Point…
…as well as secret members of the organization! What do you think is being hidden away in the boxes?
Casey Jr. Station
Now that we’re at the peak of Florida’s summer heat, you might be looking for the best ways to cool down in Disney World. And, both kids and grown-ups can enjoy the cool water jets that have opened once again at the Casey Jr. Splash ‘n’ Soak Station!
Over in the Storybook Circus area of the Magic Kingdom, you can find the reopened water play area inspired by the Casey Jr. train from Dumbo.
While the main area of the soak station is open, the snack stands are still closed. So, we’ll have to keep an eye out for their reopening soon!
What a cute way to beat the heat in Disney World!
Find out the details of the reopened Casey’s Splash ‘n’ Soak Station!
