Would You Wait 86 Minutes to Ride This Disney World Ride?

Fireworks are BACK!

Every week we take a look at the average wait times for every single ride so you can gauge how busy the parks are for your next trip. Most of the pre-shows are BACK in the parks and the fireworks made their return this week at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, so let’s see how that affected crowds! Here’s a look at all the average wait times in Disney World from this week.

Magic Kingdom

Starting in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time this week with 63 minutes!

Next, we had Splash Mountain at 52 minutes, Space Mountain at 44 minutes, Jungle Cruise at 43 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 40 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 32 minutes, and Astro Orbiter at 30 minutes.

In the 20s range, we had Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 28 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 26 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin also at 26 minutes, and Pirates of the Caribbean at 20 minutes.

Rides with average wait times in the teens included Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 18 minutes, “its a small world” at 18 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 14 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 14 minutes, and Liberty Square Riverboat at 13 minutes.

After that we had Tomorrowland Speedway at 12 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 12 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 12 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 11 minutes, and Mad Tea Party at 10 minutes.

Looking for rides with an average wait time of less than 10 minutes? This past week there were quite a few that fell into this category.

Let’s go in the tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room!

We had Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at minutes, Country Bear Jamboree at 4 minutes, Tom Sawyer Island at 4 minutes, Carousel of Progress at 3 minutes, Enchanted Tiki Room at 0 minutes, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse at 0 minutes.

EPCOT

Moving on to EPCOT, Test Track had the longest average wait time at 69 minutes!

After that, we had Frozen Ever After at 48 minutes, Soarin’ at 38 minutes, Gran Fiesta Tour at 27 minutes, and Mission: SPACE at 24 minutes.

Showstopper!

Rides with even shorter wait times included Spaceship Earth at 16 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 15 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 13 minutes, and Living with the Land at 9 minutes.

The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits yet again this past week! These included: American Adventure, Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!

Hollywood Studios

Over in Hollywood Studios, we saw Slinky Dog Dash had the highest average wait time this week at a whopping 81 minutes.

After that we had Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 55 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 55 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 50 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 44 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 42 minutes.

Following that was Alien Swirling Saucers at 28 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 17 minutes, Walt Disney Presents at 13 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D at 12 minutes, and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 11 minutes.

Animal Kingdom

Last but not least, in Animal Kingdom, Avatar Flight of Passage had the longest average wait time of ANY ride in Disney World this week at 86 minutes.

Following that was Na’vi River Journey at 42 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 33 minutes, and Kali River Rapids at 31 minutes.

If you wanted to see Disco Yeti this week, Expedition Everest‘s average wait time was at 29 minutes.

Looking for rides with wait times under 25 minutes? This week we had DINOSAUR at 18 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 11 minutes, Triceratop Spin at 6 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
