You NEED to Mark September 26 On Your Calendar if You’re Doing Thanksgiving in Disney World

Disney World at Thanksgiving is a great time to find amazing themed snacks around the parks!

Many restaurants offer special dishes for Thanksgiving at Disney, so you’ll want to save the date for when you can start making dining reservations for the big day!

If you’re planning to be in Disney World for Thanksgiving day, you probably want to sit down to a Thanksgiving meal at some point! You’ll need a reservation for most sit-down restaurants in Disney World, and you can start making those reservations 60 days in advance!

The Edison Thanksgiving Dinner

For Thanksgiving day, the date to remember is September 26 this year! Starting around 5:45AM EST on that day, you can make dining reservations online for your Disney vacation! The phone lines tend to open a little later, but ofter present a bit of a wait. We’d recommend being ready to reserve your spot as soon as the clock strikes that time because dining reservations go fast for big days like Thanksgiving!

If you don’t get the reservation you really want, we’d recommend making another (take your option B!) and keeping an eye out for reservations to open up at your first choice! It’s not guaranteed that more will open (and for busy times, they likely won’t), but it’s possible and worth trying! We wish you all the best in getting your favorite reservations! And don’t forget: September 26th at 5:45AM EST!
