Fish and chips are such an iconic dish that they’ve even inspired a pair of Minnie Ears in Disney World!
While we’ve often enjoyed fish and chips at Yorkshire County Fish Shop in EPCOT’s United Kingdom pavilion, one iconic celebrity chef is now giving Orlando residents and tourists an opportunity to eat even more of this classic dish outside the parks!
Back in April, we shared that celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay would be opening a brand new restaurant — Gordon Ramsey Fish & Chips — over at Orlando’s ICON Park this August. And now, that grand opening day has arrived!
According to Click Orlando, today Gordon Ramsay opened his first Florida location for the fish & chips restaurant concept in ICON Park. The restaurant is described as “fast-casual dining” and the menu features fish and chips dishes, in addition to other options like lobster, chicken, and fried shrimp.
Guests can also enjoy what Ramsay calls “dirty fries,” which are French fries with toppings like jalapeño and chorizo, truffle and parmesan cheese, or bacon and cheese. The Fish & Chips Combo meal comes with three pieces of cod, fries, a drink, and a choice of two sauces for $16.99.
Ramsay has a second Fish & Chips restaurant located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gordon Ramsay’s Fish & Chips in Orlando will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 AM to 11 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to midnight. So if you’re looking for fish & chips in Orlando but not in Disney World or Disney Springs, you could check out this spot!
