When Disney World reopened, parades were suspended and replaced with character cavalcades.
And we’ve enjoyed quite a few of these cavalcades, but now that things are returning to “normal” at Disney World, lots of things seem to be changing…again. Parades will resume this holiday season (at least with the Very Merriest After Hours Party), and a character cavalcade has officially been suspended.
That cavalcade is the Princess Promenade at EPCOT. The Princess Promenade has been removed from the EPCOT Entertainment section of the Disney World website, and we confirmed with a Cast Member that the cavalcade has been suspended. However, you can still see the princesses at EPCOT in a different way.
Now, the princesses have started having socially-distanced meet and greets around World Showcase throughout the day. For example, you can often spot Aurora and Belle, near World Showcase Lagoon across from the France and Morocco Pavilions.
Snow White is now appearing at the Germany Pavilion near the Wishing Well, which is, well…perfect!
We’ve seen Mulan greeting guests from the garden of the China Pavilion before.
Jasmine can be seen hanging out on the stage just outside the Morocco Pavilion.
And as usual, both Anna and Elsa continue to appear at the Norway Pavilion.
So don’t worry if you still want to see the princesses in EPCOT! You’ll be able to meet them from a distance as you walk around World Showcase. And if we spot any other princesses popping up in other locations, we’ll be sure to let you know!
