The Liberty Square Riverboat at Magic Kingdom will be closing for a short refurbishment starting Monday, August 23. The refurbishment is expected to last through Tuesday, August 31, with the riverboat reopening on September 1. The Liberty Square Riverboat was closed for several months of 2020 and early 2021 as the Rivers of America were drained and refurbished. This month’s refurbishment is likely the more standard annual refurb.
