NEWS: Parades are Coming BACK for the Holidays in Disney World!

The holidays are quickly approaching at Walt Disney World!

The Holiday Season Will Be Here Before You Know It!

Although there will be no Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year, there WILL be an After Hours event! And Disney just announced a ton of details about it! It’s called Disney Very Merriest After Hours and guess what? “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” is BACK!!

That’s right folks, Mickey’s Christmastime Parade is returning! This will be the first parade in Disney World since the parks shut down due to the pandemic. All we’ve had since the parks reopened are cavalcades, which are basically just mini-parades.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be joined by characters from Frozen, the Toy Soldiers, and, of course, Santa Claus himself!

Tickets for the event will let you into Magic Kingdom at 7PM, allowing you to also see the Disney Enchantment fireworks show coming to the park for the 50th anniversary. So, you can get 2 fireworks shows in one night because there will be fireworks during the After Hours event as well!

Tickets will go on sale August 20th and can be bought online or over the phone at 407-939-7947. Guests of select Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, as well as Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort can book their tickets as early as August 17th.
