PHOTO: The Monorail Station at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is Nearing Completion!

If you’ve taking a trip around the Magic Kingdom Resort Monorail loop recently, you have probably noticed that you currently cannot get on or off at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Aloha, Polynesian Village Resort!

The resort, which has gone through extensive renovations along with a re-theming of their guest rooms inspired by Moana, has had no working Monorail station for several months now as the station undergoes some renovations.

We rode the Monorail today as we left Magic Kingdom, and we spotted an exciting update from the construction site at the Polynesian!

The tarps have been removed from the Monorail station! We were able to get a quick glance at the progress done at the site before another Monorail passed by.

Here’s what the new entrance area of the Polynesian will look like once all of the construction is completed:

We’ll continue to keep a close watch on the construction happening at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and we will let you know as soon as we learn more on when we can expect Monorail service to resume at the Polynesian!
