Gideon’s Bakehouse has become very popular in Disney Springs, and for a good reason!
They have massive cookies, rich cakes, and delicious cold brew coffee. Sometimes the virtual wait to get into the shop can be HOURS long! Gideon’s releases new flavors quite often, including a limited-time cookie of the month, and we love to stop by and try them out for you! And there are a few delicious items that we think you’re going to want to hear about!
Gideon’s has a daily chocolate cake slice that rotates each day of the week! Today, the flavor was Andes Mint Cookies & Cream Cake, and we HAD to try it, obviously! Just look how massive this cake is! It’s covered on the outside by chopped up Andes Mints.
And cake we take a moment to appreciate this frosting?! It’s legit the same size as the cake layers, which is what we like to see, people!
The cake has a big cookies and cream flavors, like an Oreo, but also the delicious taste of mint thanks to the candy!
The chocolate cake was moist and fresh, and we wouldn’t expect anything less, because Gideon’s cakes are always outstanding.
We definitely recommend trying this cake slice out if you like chocolate and mint! You can get a slice for $9.
Next, we got a bag of Gideon’s Bites. These are quarters of Gideon’s famous cookies covered in chocolate and then topped with the signature ingredients of that cookie so you can tell the difference between flavors!
These were awesome! We already love their cookies and then they made them bite size and covered them in chocolate, as if they couldn’t get any better!!
You get 6 bites per bag and a bag is $20. This is a great way to try out the different flavors without buying a bunch of full size cookies! We got Cookies & Cream…
…Peanut Butter Crunch…
…and Original Chocolate Chip!
We also got a bag of the Eternal Flame Bites!
They’re a limited edition bag and have 6 Velvety Five Flavor Chocolate Cookies laced with special house-made Ancho, Cayenne, and Cinnamon Spice Mix all covered in Chocolate Covered Cherries.
They’re VERY chocolatey inside!
Finally, to wash everything down we got the Cookies & Cream Cold Brew! Like all of the other cold brew options here, it’s plant based!
This was VERY sweet! It kind of reminded us of a melted mocha ice cream. The coffee and chocolate flavors go perfect together
The cold brew is definitely a sweet treat, it might even be too sweet for some people! This is more of a dessert item than a coffee you would start your day with. If that sounds delicious to you, then you can get it for $6!
Well, we certainly just got a sugar rush!! All of these sweet treats are available at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs, so go try them out if you have a big sweet tooth! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney food reviews and updates.
