It’s officially World Princess Week in Disney World!
Merida
This week TONS of treats, new merchandise, and even a special Tiana-themed playground are coming to Disney World, and we are in the parks to check it out! We’ve already tried some of the highlighted Disney Princess treats this week including the Mermaid Slushy and the Cinderella Cupcake, but we’re in Disney’s Hollywood Studios to try a treat we haven’t had in a LONG time.
The Trolley Car Cafe in Hollywood Studios is known for delicious sweets (including the beloved Carrot Cake Cookie), so it was no surprise that we ended up here to try the Merida Cupcake! We previously saw this cupcake back in 2019 at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, so let’s see if the cupcake has changed at all!

The cupcake is made with chocolate cake that’s filled with caramel and topped with green and orange vanilla-flavored buttercream, gold crisp pearls, and a chocolate arrow.

This cupcake is slightly different than the previous version, and we thought it was delicious! As you can see, the icing is topped with teeny tiny little sprinkles and a chocolate arrow (how else would you pay tribute to Merida?!).
Swirled Icing
For this cupcake, Disney kept it simple! There was a sweet caramel in the middle of the cupcake that paired nicely with the chocolate cake. As you can see, there was plenty of icing, too!
Carmel filling… YUM!
The classic flavors make this a pretty safe bet for most cupcake lovers, making it a great choice for princess fans and those of us looking for a treat in Hollywood Studios! You can find the new Merida cupcake for $5.49 at the Trolley Car Cafe for a limited time in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
