Welcome to spooky season! It may only be mid-August, but Disney After Hours BOO Bash officially begins tonight, which means we’ve seen a total invasion of all things Halloween over the past few days!

From seasonal decor to must-have souvenirs, Magic Kingdom has totally transformed into our ghoulish delight! And now that the event is finally here, we get to check out all the exclusive spooky eats, including a returning item from a past villain’s event!

We visited Storybook Treats tonight to grab a returning item, the Five Dozen Egg Slushy!

Inspired by Gaston’s daily ritual of eating five dozen eggs (that’s why he’s roughly the size of a barge), this dessert is a Frozen Custard with Brown Sugar topped with Whipped Cream and garnished with a Cinnamon Stick!

We last saw this treat at the 2020 Disney Villains After Hours, so we were curious to see how this year’s version would compare to its previous appearances. They both have the same list of ingredients, but this years’ has a lot more whipped cream and tasted mostly like egg nog!

This dessert is available during BOO Bash for $5.99. We’ll be trying all of this year’s Halloween goodies around the parks and resorts too, so be sure to stay tuned for more reviews!
