With the 50th Anniversary of Disney World right around the corner, Disney has been busy at work updating a myriad of its hotels and attractions!

One of the hotels that is getting a facelift is Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Disney is updating the entrance, monorail station, and overhauling guest rooms to a Moana theme. Although the resort is officially open again and we got a look at the brand new Moana rooms, we have an update about the entrance for you today!
As we were making our way around the Polynesian today we noticed a lot of work being done to the facade of the resort. One of the new additions we spotted was some new panels that brighten up the front entrance of the hotel!

These panels are giving us some serious tropical vibes and match the feel of the resort perfectly!

We continue to see plenty of activity at the Poly, so we are hopeful all of the updates will be done soon.
Can’t wait until it’s finished
We continue to make progress on the outside of the hotel and the Monorail station, but we recently got to stay in one of the newly re-themed Moana rooms and loved it!
