The Wait for Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom Was HOW SHORT this Week?!

Last week, we noticed wait times were down significantly compared to earlier in August, so let’s see if the trend is continuing! Here’s a look at all the average wait times in Disney World from this week!

Magic Kingdom

Let’s head to Magic Kingdom! This week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 47 minutes!

Then, we had Jungle Cruise at 37 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 34 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 30 minutes, Splash Mountain at 28 minutes, Space Mountain at 23 minutes, and Haunted Mansion at 22 minutes.

Following behind was Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 21 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 17 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 14 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 12 minutes.

Next, we saw Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 11 minutes, “its a small world” at 10 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 10 minutes.

A lot of rides had wait times in the single digits this week! We had Tomorrowland Speedway at 9 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 7 minutes, Mad Tea Party at 6 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 6 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 6 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 6 minutes, Liberty Square Riverboat at 6 minutes, and Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 6 minutes.

And, even lower was Carousel of Progress at 4 minutes, Tom Sawyer Island at 3 minutes, Country Bear Jamboree at 2 minutes, Hall of Presidents at 0 minutes, Enchanted Tiki Room at 0 minutes, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse at 0 minutes.

Over in EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Test Track at 34 minutes!

Then, we had Frozen Ever After at 30 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 13 minutes, Soarin’ at 12 minutes, and Turtle Talk with Crush at 9 minutes.

Rides with even shorter wait times included Spaceship Earth at 6 minutes, Gran Fiesta Tour at 6 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 6 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 6 minutes, and Living with the Land at 5 minutes.

One of the theater shows in EPCOT actually had a wait this past week — Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along at 1 minute! All of the others had no wait. These included: American Adventure, Awesome Planet, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!

Moving on to Hollywood StudiosSlinky Dog Dash actually had the highest average wait time in all of the parks this week at 51 minutes, finally beating out Flight of Passage!

After that, we had Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 35 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 35 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 28 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 23 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 22 minutes.

And finally, we had Walt Disney Presents at 16 minutes, Alien Swirling Saucers at 13 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 13 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes, and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 9 minutes.

Animal Kingdom

Hopping over to Animal Kingdom, the ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 34 minutes, which is VERY low compared to what we’ve seen over the past couple of months!

Then, we had Na’vi River Journey at 24 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 13 minutes, and Kilimanjaro Safaris at 11 minutes

Following behind was Expedition Everest at 10 minutes, DINOSAUR at 6 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 9 minutes, Triceratop Spin at 4 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
