What’s New at EPCOT: A Secret Menu Item and a Rare Princess Returns!

Everyday is a great day when you’re spending it in EPCOT! This park has gone through some major changes recently with all of that construction happening in Future World, and it even more has changed already since our last update from the park!

EPCOT

And with new offerings like Harmonious arriving this October along with Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Space 220 also in the works, it constantly seems like there’s something NEW happening in the park. Let’s recap what’s new these days in the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.

EPCOT General Updates

If you’ve been waiting for more characters to return to Disney World, this first update is for you! Snow White has been seen greeting guests from a safe distance in the Germany Pavilion!

Hey there, Snow White!

She’s one of the more rare princesses you can spot in Disney World, so we were very excited to see her out and about again in World Showcase.

We also noticed Spaceship Earth being lit up at night this week in preparation for the 50th Anniversary Celebration!

We can’t wait to see you up close!

While we spotted this from a distance, it was a very exciting spotting! Spaceship Earth, along with the other park icons, will transform into “Beacons of Magic” after the sun goes down with special lighting effects.

EPCOT Food Updates

EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival

We have a couple of updates to give you from the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival! The first update is from the Italy booth, where we noticed that the Mezzelune Croccanti is once again sold out.

This isn’t the first time they’ve been sold out of this item!

This item has been sold out before, so hopefully, Disney is able to resolve this apparent inventory issue!

We spotted a new Annual Passholder-exclusive drink called Nitro Dreams at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival recently! This drink is available daily at the Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Carts between now and the end of the festival.

Nitro Dreams

This drink was heavy on the coffee and a little weak on the alcohol — if you want an alcoholic version of this drink, it’ll cost you $12.99. It’s a secret menu drink so you’ll have to order it by name when you visit the park next!

EPCOT Merchandise Updates

Pin Traders

We spotted a new turquoise phone case featuring Minnie Mouse! The design is very cute and a little more subtle if you’re into Disney merchandise that isn’t as “in-your-face” as some souvenirs tend to feel.

So cute!

It’s available for $34.99! Now you can keep your phone safe and protected while also looking super sleek and stylish.

Mouse Gear

We noticed some of the latest Loungefly arrivals in Mouse Gear on a recent visit, including the new Spider-Man Loungefly Mini Backpack

…as well as the Captain Marvel logo backpack!

That will do it for our latest roundup of the newest updates from EPCOT! We’re thrilled to see more characters return for socially distanced meet and greets with guests, and of course, any new menu updates from the Food and Wine Festival are going to catch our eye! Be sure to follow along as we continue to cover the latest happenings from the Disney World parks and resorts, especially as Disney gears up to begin its 50th Anniversary Celebration!
