If you’re planning a trip to Disney World you’ve got to think about a whole bunch of different things — hotels, tickets, Park Pass reservations, dining reservations, flights/transportation, and (of course) what to pack!

But another thing you’ll also need to think about is just WHERE to pack your items. Anyone else got that old, dusty luggage sitting in their closet from a million years ago? Maybe it’s time for a luggage upgrade? Maybe you know you’ll be bringing back a LOT of souvenirs and need a bigger bag to put them in? Or maybe you’ve got little ones who need luggage of their own? Whatever the case, if you’re in the neighborhood for new luggage, we’ve got you covered!

We took a look on Amazon at some of the top-rated luggage. We limited our choices to only those with more than 500 ratings (at least) and a rating of at least 4.5 stars or more. We also sorted some by the average customer review to see some of the cream of the crop. So, without further ado, we present to you some of the luggage with the HIGHEST ratings on Amazon.

1 — American Tourister

You might be aware that American Tourister has a partnership with Disney. In fact, American Tourister is the official luggage of Disney World. So, it’s so surprise that you can find a number of Disney-themed American Tourister bags. But, these bags aren’t just cute — they’re also very highly rated!

For example, some of the soft-side luggage we looked at had over 3,000 ratings and a 4.9 out of 5 rating. Nearly a perfect score!

There are a variety of designs to pick from including the Minnie denim, Minnie dots, and more. There are also different sizes available — a carry-on 21-inch bag and a checked-large 28-inch bag. 

The carry-on 21-inch bag in the Minnie denim design is priced at $92.88 right now (normally $139.99), so be sure to grab it while it’s on sale!

As we mentioned though, this brand has a lot of options and all are pretty highly rated. There’s a Frozen-themed kids luggage with over 5,000 ratings and 4.8 stars. This one is priced at $59.99.

There’s also a Star Wars bag for all you Darth Vader fans. It’s a bit expensive though at $146.21 for a 21-inch bag, but it is hard-sided luggage.

Or, you can opt for a hard-sided bag that features the Disney Villains and other designs for $159.10 for a 21-inch bag.

Again, that is on the pricey side, but American Tourister’s hard-sided bags that we looked at had over 3,000 ratings and a rating of 4.8 stars.

2 — COOLIFE

If you’re looking to grab a suitcase set and aren’t looking to spend too much money, the COOLIFE luggage sets could be a great choice. This set comes with 3 pieces — a 20-inch bag, a 24-inch bag, and a 28-inch bag for $144.49 (on sale from $179.99).

The bags have nearly 2,000 ratings and an overall score of 4.8 out of 5.

They feature a TSA lock, spinner wheels, and more.

3 — Kensie

If you’re looking for hard-sided luggage in a smaller, carry-on 20-inch size at a fairly inexpensive price, the kensie luggage might be just the one.

It comes in a variety of colors and is priced at $61.47 (on sale from $69).

It also has over 1,800 ratings and an overall rating of 4.8 out of 9.

It comes with a TSA-approved lock, fully lined interior, and wheels that can rotate.

4 — Travelers Club

If you’re planning a trip and bringing little ones with you, you might need some separate luggage for them. The Travelers Club luggage set could be a good option as it comes with 5 separate pieces to help your kiddo travel in style, keep their things organized, and even get some comfort!

The set comes with an 18-inch hard-side carry-on, a backpack, a lunch bag, a neck pillow, and a luggage tag!

The set comes in different adorable designs including ones with hearts, bunnies, polka dots, and more.

But kids aren’t the only ones who can have fun. Travelers Club also has luggage sets for adults with great reviews. This 4-piece luggage set has over 5,000 ratings and an overall score of 4.7 stars out of 5.

The set comes with a 26-inch spinner suitcase, 20-inch carry-on spinner suitcase, a boarding tote, and a travel kit toiletry bag.

It comes in various colors. The lilac set is priced at $119.65 (down from $128.00).

5 — Amazon Basics

If you’re just looking for something simple, you could check out the Amazon Basics bags.

You can get these individually or as 2 or 3-piece sets. They come in a variety of different colors and feature wheels that rotate, a hard shell, and 3 zippered pockets inside.

You can get a 26-inch luggage bag in black for $93.38, or a 21-inch version for $73.72.

The bags have over 25,000 ratings and an overall score of 4.7 stars out of 5.

6 — Rockland

A good option for soft-sided luggage is the Rockland Soft-side luggage set. This set comes with an upright bag (21 inches) with wheels and a tote bag (14 inches). There are a variety of different colors available too, so you can pick the ones you like best.

The bags have over 37,000 ratings and an overall score of 4.5 stars out of 5. Reviews note that they’re lightweight, well made, and a great value.

7 — Samsonite

We end our list with some luggage that has high reviews but is quite pricey. The Samsonite Hard-sided expandable luggage with spinner wheels, 28-inch bag is priced at $159.99 but overall this brand seems to be highly rated.

Some of Samsonite’s bags have over 13,000 ratings and a score of 4.7 out of 5 stars. Reviews note that they are easy to maneuver, well made, and good quality.

The 28-inch bag comes with side-mounted TSA locks built-in, so that’s a nice touch.
