Many things have been reopening at Disney World lately!
From restaurants to shows to hotels, we’ve seen many of our favorite experiences return around the resort. Almost all of Disney World’s hotels have reopened, but there are still a few that we have been waiting for! And, we may be waiting a lot longer to see the reopening of one hotel in particular.
The reopening of Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort has been delayed indefinitely.
The value resort was supposed to reopen on December 9th, 2021, but Disney has now said that it will remain closed.
The reasoning for the closure, according to Disney, is so they can refresh the Sports themed area at the hotel. A reopening date will be announced at a later time.
If you have an upcoming reservations at All-Star Sports, Disney says you will receive communication via email and will be instructed to reach out to your travel professional to modify your stay at no additional charge.
Changing your hotel stay will not have any impact on your other booked vacation experiences like theme park or dining reservations.
Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts — Riverside and French Quarter — are still set to reopen next month. Riverside will reopen on October 14th and French Quarter will reopen on October 28th. We’ll keep you updated on when All-Star Sports could reopen, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
