Disney World’s 50th anniversary is mere HOURS away, folks!

And, we’ve just learned so much more about the celebrations that are in store. We’ve seen the food coming to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, MORE new merchandise, and found out about a NEW interactive MagicBand coming soon! It’s such an exiting time for us Disney fans, and we want to make sure special things don’t get overshadowed. So, we need to show you something really fun coming to Magic Kingdom for the 50th!

Check out this 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea diver figure!

It was revealed today as Disney was talking about the food offerings coming to Magic Kingdom. The diver was shown with the Squids Revenge Drink coming to Be Our Guest (which is a michelada with a salted rim, garnished with charred octopus and cucumber), so, we think the diver might be coming to the restaurant as well!

The drink and diver figure honor 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage, which was an opening day attraction in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland back in 1971. The attraction was based off of the 1954 Disney movie by the same name.

While the attraction closed in 1994, its legacy lives on, and Disney is definitely making sure of that with these fun offerings! We’ll be on the lookout for the diver figure during the 50th anniversary celebrations and let you know more details, so stay tuned to DFB for updates!
